Wave opened its first boutique in Kendal — a picturesque market town in the Lake District. This store has gone from strength to strength, moving and expanding to finally find its ideal location on Finkle Street — an impressive treble-fronted store with two further floors housing the head office & a workshop. Wave also offers a bespoke service that is second to none - if you can't find your heart's desire Wave can design and make it for you, from a wedding ring to fit around an unusual-shaped engagement ring to that special gift that needs to be completely unique and personal.

Wave is well respected within its industry, being called upon to comment in Retail Jeweller Magazine on a regular basis. This magazine also dedicated a full double-page spread to the launch of the fourth Wave store in Manchester. Wave has also had the honour of being asked to judge the UK Jewellery Awards many times. In May 2010 Wave was named by other jewellers and by Retail Jeweller Magazine as one of the countries "Most Inspiring Independent Jewellery retailers" in the UK. In September 2010, the company directors were included in the 'Hot 100', an industry publication in Professional Jeweller magazine with a supporting event held at Kensingtons Roof Gardens London.
