Wayfarers Independent Hostel, providing excellent value accommodation on the edge of the Lake District.

Opened in February 2013 and situated close to Penrith town centre, Wayfarers Hostel provides excellent value accommodation to those visiting Penrith, the Eden Valley and the North Lakes.

Penrith is on the edge of the Lake District National Park, close to the M6 and on the West Coast Mainline with shops, pubs, restaurants and a cinema all within 5 minutes walk of the hostel. The Coast to Coast cycle route passes 50m from the doorstep, secure indoor bike storage, a drying room, and cleaning and maintenance facilities make this an ideal place to stay after a hard day’s ride.

Newly refurbished in a comfortable, modern style. Facilities include a lounge, full kitchen and dining facilities and an outside seating area for guests to enjoy. All bedrooms are en suite with made up beds (sheets & duvets), lockers, bedside lights, towels for hire and have free WiFi available.

Individuals, small parties and groups of up to 18 are welcome.
