What a place! Picked purely on the name because it made me chuckle and now my belly is full of beefy and potatoey goodness. To quote the great philosopher A A Schwarzenegger; ŌĆ£IŌĆÖll be backŌĆØ

User

Went today while out on a shopping trip to Preston.

The burger was lovely - lamb with Mexican Cheese and Pesto aioli - at a very decent price. And the service could not be better.

All in all, well worth going to again and again.

User

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Really simple and basic but works so well. Beef burger was really tasty and quite big, fries were awesome. My daughter was a little sceptical as sheŌĆÖs not really burger fan but she loved it. Thought it was quite reasonably priced too, especially the drinks and sides. Would definitely recommend.

User

The best burgers. IŌĆÖd never really been a burger person until I met this place. Me and my partner have been atleast once a week since it opened, sometimes twice if we really were treating ourselves. Mainly as a takeaway because of kids, but that just means a nice beer while you wait! We went away for two weeks at Christmas and IŌĆÖm pretty certain I had withdrawal. I either need a loyalty card or a support group, but in a good way. The quality is exceptional and the updated menu is somehow more to die for. Great job guys!

User

OMG found this wee gem of a place on TripAdvisor so thought we would give it a go....wow the food is amazing, and the staff are great. Endulged in the Dirty Bastard burger which was indeed a meaty treat, washed that down with a mudslide boozy milkshake. Will most defo be coming again!!!!

User

My gosh! Have been told a few times to visit this place so we finally tried it ’┐Į we had a make your own burger each with mozzarella sticks and halloumi sides with an extra regular fries, was the best burgers we have ever tasted, fresh chips & to top it off, lovely service! Thankyou we will be back ’┐Į

User

Lovely little place, great value, perfect size portion and amazing flavour only thing I'd suggest for a 'lady' is get your slaw & sauce on the side to make it easier to pick up, as for us 'girls' just grab the lot with both hands & use lots of napkins....

If you are Coeliac, or Celiac, however you choose to spell it, like me, eating out can be a trial. These guys understand. They have gluten free burger rolls and can advise on which ingredients are, or are not, gluten free. The restriction is minimal, ( limited to standard fries and don't go for some of the sauces). Let them know, they will advise. Other than that, the chef made burgers are devine and you can build in your own cheeses, sauces and extras. Love the timber decor. Great staff, quick service. Not cheap but the food is great. Take your own fork if you must! It's a small place and could get busy, so go early if you want a quieter meal. We will be going back as soon as we can!

User

I've just eaten at ham and jams pop up restaurant, the best food I've eaten in Preston ever. I can't recommend it enough. Just what the city needs. 5* all the way. Booked again for tomorrow evening @hamandjam

Had my first WDGAF experience on Sunday and was very impressed. I'd read about it in a blog, and after assuming it would be based in London was pleasantly surprised to find it was in Preston!

The food was amazing; my partner had the lamb burger whilst I opted for the 'Dirty Bastard'. The burgers were succulent and delicious, and the buttermilk fried chicken was moist and full of flavour. The bacon was plentiful and thick-cut, and the garlic aioli coleslaw was heavenly. I would never have thought of putting crisps on a burger but it added a certain je ne sais quoi and worked brilliantly! We also got a free upgrade to curly fries as they were out of the normal ones, but even so we couldn't clear our trays as the portions were huge. (We did however make sure to finish the burgers of course!)

Whilst the lack of cutlery made for a slightly messy meal (yay for the giant rolls of tissue provided!!), it added to the fun and both of us enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Prices were spot on, and our server was great - very friendly and chatty. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely visit again!

User

Great staff great service great food! Will be back and will recommend to others :)

User

Finally got round to giving this place a try. The menu looked good and the interior - while they're clearly still doing some work on it - is rather pleasant and the service was good. The only downside was the music being rather loud and not seemingly in line with the look/style of the place giving it the impression of a younger person's gig.

Despite any issue with the music though, it was rendered into irrelevance by the standard of the food which was nothing short of outstanding. I had a more standard burger while my friend had the vegan option, both were equally excellent.

Delighted in the existence of this place, hope the standards stay high and will be both recommending and using it myself.

User

Fantastic food and a beautiful venue, the burgers were cooked perfectly and the atmosphere was comfortable yet slightly classy, but not feeling out of place in a t-shirt and jeans.

The burger of the week had amazing flavours that I wouldn't have put on a bun usually, but of course there's no fork, so bun it is :)

The only criticism I would have is that the chips were warm and not hot, but that's as far as I'd stretch for negativity!

User

Easily one of the best burgers I have had. Food came quickly and was fresh. Reasonably priced. Great selection of beers to go with your burger. The only thing I can complain about is there was no vinegar for my chips. Will defiantly be returning.

User

Defo hidden gem of preston! Good value, big portions, fast service, friendly staff and caters for every taste (even a fussy 6 yr old!) will be visiting again soon!!

User

Definitely my new favourite place to grab a quick bite of some pretty awesome food! The place itself is great, tables well prepped with huge rolls of tissue paper! (You need it). Great customer service & the food is to die for! I ordered the 'dirty bastard' and let me tell you. They're not joking. I actually had the other half ask for a fork but they don't joke about 'not giving a fork' either...I receive a spoon. Which actually worked out well in the end. All of this made it an hilarious first experience. Would 100% come again.

User

Came in last night party of 12 . We had no booking as we had been let down from our original restaurant that we had booked. Then we came across this little gem !!!!Fantastic and friendly staff , the food was packed with flavour, the Christmas burger was great. DidnŌĆÖt manage to finish the burger as I was to full, but the staff popped it in a bag for me to take home . Great customer service and I will be definitely going back.

Highly recommended

User

Absolutely bang on! Best burger IŌĆÖve had since BodeanŌĆÖs in London . Better than the other local dirty burger places . CanŌĆÖt wait to try it again soon

User

Incredibly disappointed with this place. I was so excited to try it as the reviews are great! Just didnŌĆÖt do it for me unfortunately. The burger didnŌĆÖt really have much taste and the chips were very salty. I am glad I tried this place but I donŌĆÖt think IŌĆÖll be back.
