There are many decisions to be made when planning a wedding, here's one you can chalk off your list straight away, book The Wedding Smashers.



That's the short version, if you need more convincing please read on. The Wedding Smashers provided an excel document by which you list 20 must hear and 20 would like to hear songs on your wedding day. There is also a request for a list for songs that you absolutely despise. Whilst it was quite good fun to fill out the excel spreadsheet it also serves to inform The Wedding Smashers of what kind of music you are in to.



When we booked The Wedding Smashers Max made a point of meeting up with us prior to our wedding day to get even more of a feel for what music we liked and also to get a sense of what kind of couple we were, which my wife and I thought was a really nice touch.



On the night Blakey DJ'd and totally killed it with the perfect mix of crowd pleasers for the older generation mixed (literally) with newer up to date tunes. We just wanted a party atmosphere, nothing too traditional, just a real mix of songs that would keep everyone on the dance floor. There’s nothing worse than when a wedding falls flat in the evening with an empty dance floor and everyone sat down eating cake in a separate room. I already knew we had picked the perfect DJ's but confirmation came when my best men, wife and I were all dancing on the shoulders of friends pretty soon after the first dance and the party only got better from there. In fact from the moment I entered the room for our first dance, I didn't leave the dancefloor until Blakey had packed up and left. Since we have got married so many of my friends have commented on how amazing The Wedding Smashers were and if I had my time again I would book them even earlier than I did first time around. These guys are good, seriously good!!!

The Wedding Smashers were phenomenal! Look no further for your DJ. These guys were first rate from beginning to end; from communication beforehand to the amazing music Pete and Johnny played on the day. They kept the dance floor full all night and played all of our VIP songs which meant we had some really special moments with our guests. Also all of the AV stuff went really smoothly too. No squeaking mics or dodgy speakers. All perfect! They really are 10/10! Highly recommend them.

The Wedding Smashers played our wedding in August last summer. Fast forward to 2017 and everyone is still talking about how good the music was!



If you want a tumbleweed filled dance floor then look else where. If you want a packed dance floor with people cutting loose and having the time of their lives then book them asap. It will be one of the best decisions you make in organising your wedding!

Not only were they super easy to deal with in the run up to the wedding, on the day Dan made sure everything ran without a hiccup and so many people have said that it was the best music they have ever had at a wedding!



The dance floor was packed all night long and the guests loved it so much we've had numerous requests for the play list.

One word. PARTY!!! The comment we have heard time and again from our guests since our wedding is: that was one hell of a party! The dancefloor was packed from start to finish, just tune after tune. And a HUGE reason for that was DJ Dan and Wedding Smashers. I had a long conversation with Dan ahead of our wedding to explain our eclectic music tastes and he not only listened to my insane ramblings but fulfilled a crazy brief beyond any of our expectations. He absolutely smashed it! And we can never thank Wedding Smashers enough for making our wedding party go off like nothing ever seen before!! Just book them, seriously xx

Max travelled to France for our wedding and we could not be more grateful that he did- I am not exaggerating when I say he absolutely MADE the party. He could not have been more professional, easy to communicate with, nor produce a more perfect tone for the occasion. The dance floor was full all night, of all ages and there were serious complaints when he had to finish. I have been to many many weddings (and yes, am possibly biased) but our music was over and above the best. There is no one else who will do what they do- don't hesitate.

Max did an amazing job of keeping the party going into the wee small hours, just like we asked! He played a great range of music that meant there was something for everyone. They were a great help on lighting too which we hadn't even thought about. Thanks so much for everything!!! We couldn't recommend Wedding Smashers highly enough!

Huge thanks to Dan for playing at our wedding in April! He kept people of their feet all night and did a special mix for my dance with my dad, which went down a storm! The vibe on the night was perfect with a brilliant mix of music. We just had the best time dancing the night away! Thank you!!

From my first email to Max, to Dan travelling to Florence for Laura and Adams wedding, we could not have expected any better from these guys. Brilliant communication with both of them before the wedding and an amazing playlist by Dan, (catering for both young and old) he kept ALL the guests on the dance floor the whole night long. No-one wanted him to finish and we have had several requests for the playlist from guests who have never heard old and new music put together in they way that Dan had mixed them.



What was a truly fantastic day ended with an equally fantastic night thanks to Dan and the rest of the ‘Wedding Smashers’ team. Don’t hesitate to book them for your wedding…..you will not be disappointed !!

First Class Smashing. Don't hesitate to get the Wedding Smashers at your wedding. Max was simply brilliant. Banging out the best tailored selection of the old and new. Not just your average DJ mix or bland entertainment which insults the ears, and that's what sets them apart from the others. All the guests loved the music on what was quite truly an amazing end to already amazing day. Pleasant and relaxed to deal with, you can't ask for more. Book em'

Ed did an amazing job as the DJ at our wedding. The dance floor was full from the first dance to the last. Alex was also so efficient and helpful throughout the lead up to the wedding, liaising with us about our musical tastes to ensure that all of our favourite tunes were played. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wedding Smashers - a really brilliant service and team!

Did we like the music, we absolutely loved it. All our guests said the same. Thank you so much, you hit it bang on the nail with the music and vibe. I think you must have guessed that by the amount of people still going wild late in the evening. Dan from Wedding Smashers, DJ'ed our wedding in March. We sent him a list of songs we wanted on the night and he created a killer playlist for us. The dancefloor was packed for the entire night, our guests couldn't get enough. He was also open to requests and was able to read the crowd really well. Our wedding was a definite smash and we're so grateful to you guys for helping us throw a whopper party!

Dan from Wedding Smashers was really great at as our Wedding DJ. We had a call prior to the event so that he could understand our music tastes and what we wanted for our guests. On the night, the dance floor was heaving up until the very end, my feet were destroyed but i didnt care as i had had so much fun. Everyone said the music was excellent and it shows from all of our crazy late night dance floor pics that i love! Thank you!

Dan DJ'd for our wedding in the Cotswolds in August and did an absolutely fantastic job, I couldn't recommend the Wedding Smashers enough, right from the start when we met up with Max when we first booked they were great and helpful and understood just what we wanted. Couldn't recommend the Wedding Smashers enough!! Max was our DJ and was so easy to deal with in the run-up to the wedding and really open to our ideas and the kind of music we liked. On the night Max's set was brilliant, everyone kept telling us how much they loved the music! The dancefloor was packed all night, there was crowdsurfing and just general mayhem. We also hired the laser which really added to the atmosphere. Booking the Wedding Smashers is definitely worth it!!
