It is with great excitement we are finally announcing part of our plans ahead... This summer we’re not only busy with Weddings but we’re also all hands on deck with a refurb of our new business premises! This is going to be a little different to what people will expect but all will be revealed very soon! Massive thank yous go out to all those who are supporting us and mucking in to help. We really couldn’t do it without you all. It’s exhausting, worrying, stressful but most... of all worthwhile and EXCITING!!!

Just a little note about us…
From humble beginnings our business grew. It began quite perchance in the Spring of 2014 whilst planning a surprise party for a friend. From that point we have never looked back.
We now own our own business and are equal partners. We all have our strengths and weaknesses and pull together to make a great team!!
... People often ask us why Dee’s name is used for the name of the business… Quite simple really… It was the name that sounded the best out of the three of us. Weddings & Occasions by Dee was born!
Jackie is the perfect bow tier! She has OCD when it comes to setting out flowers and centrepieces. Loves creating and putting ideas together. She is sometimes guilty of not being able to say no to anything or anyone lol. She's in charge of banking and is great at keeping uptodate with buying in new stock. She dislikes clearing the venues.
Dee is the practical worker and organiser who is a little bit of a control freak lol. A huge plus is she doesn't mind making phone calls and arranging times and dates. Dee is our expert in Asian Wedding etiquette. She just doesn't do flowers or create centrepieces. She hates paperwork and the ironing of tablecovers and sashes.
Erica loves taking a client's ideas on board. Loves to create centrepieces and look at new ideas. She's very particular at making sure the client gets exactly what they ask for. Loves the satisfaction of dressing a venue and seeing everything finally come together. She's the organiser of paperwork and spreadsheets, takes the photos and keeps the Website and Facebook page uptodate. She hates the clear up operation and putting back stock.
We are three friends that had a dream and we decided to turn that dream into a reality!!

Wow thats all i can say.... these ladies decorated our venue at Wynyard Golf Club on 14th July 18 and it was beautiful, Elegant and classy. Thank You from me and Simon for making it everything we wanted and more. Xxx

With getting married abroad it was great to know everything was dealt with and sorted before I went away. On the day of the party it helped knowing the venue was getting decorated by such a great company and I didn't need to worry or stress. The room looked fantastic when I arrived and I can't thank you ladies enough for a fantastic job xx

Well where do I start with this company!?.. well what fantastic people they made me feel like I had known them for ages which put my mind at ease while I was stressing about everything else I had to do for my wedding, so thank you for that. My decorations for my wedding looked amazing and at a reasonable price which normally is hard to find I will be definitely using this company aging for future events and recommend them to anyone that will listen lol�. We used wedding and occasions by Dee to hire vases and postbox for our wedding. Dee was so lovely and really helpful. The DIY vases were meant to be pick up and drop off by me, but for a small charge, dee delivered and collected them which was so helpful in the stress of getting everything to my venue. Would highly recommend this company

Erica and the team did an outstanding job for my wedding day! They took my breath away when i saw the venue! Everything was exactly how i wanted it and more!
