What a lovely find! Right on our door step, Laura greeted us kindly and helped us with all of our enquiries. Having just adopted a leopard gecko with little advice from the previous owner, Laura set us on the right track and offered help with the vivarium set up, feeding and long term care. Perfect for a new gecko owner! Thank you �

Visited the shop earlier today and it was awesome. The owner (Laura, I think) was amazingly welcoming and extremely knowledgeable and clearly cared a great deal about both the animals and the customers. All the animals look super healthy and taken care of and if I lived closer I'd probably be there all the time! Hope I can visit again soon.

full of knowledge and so helpful with all aspects of reptiles and amphibians..

The shop has a great supply from lizards to spiders to preying mantisis and food supplies for them all...

The second I walked into the door of weird creatures I instantly felt welcome. Laura greeted me and everyone that visited the shop as if she'd know them for years. I can't believe I haven't heard of this place sooner. A book of knowledge laura answered all my questions, she has a real passion for what she does and helped find the perfect pet for me. Weird creatures is definitely going to be my go to place for all my reptiles needs.

Popped in the other day for some food for my crestie and ended up having a long chat with (who I assume must be - sorry if not!) Laura. I've got a degree in zoology, have been a vet nurse and animal keeper in the past, and am not often impressed with the standard spiel and products pet shops offer; but laura was really amazing and super enthusiastic about all reptiles great and small - had a great time chatting and was able to gain more insight from her incredible reptile knowledge which was such a pleasure. I ended up buying a new food for my usually fussy gecko who absolutely loves it and is looking fab after a few feeds already - and you can tell the animals in the store are so well looked after as they look in amazing condition. I'll definitely be back and will be boarding my crestie with Weird Creatures when I'm away too (just trying to resist buying one of those gorgeous gargoyle geckos now!). Very happy to have found you guys!

Popped in store today unsure of what I'd be walking out with ...but was greeted by Laura who was filled with great knowledge and great service in allowing us to handle a reptile and snake of interest, this was my first ever purchase of a brilliant creature and I left feeling happy and satisfied! I’ve shopped with Laura for years and never been disappointed, Laura is always very helpful and never put pressure on to buy things. She’s open & honest, I think this helps buy the best thing for customers. I’d never go anywhere else! Brilliant �

I’ve never shopped there, however I was chatting via messenger today getting some advice about one of my snakes. Whilst my issue isn’t resolved, I was given some reassuring advice, which calmed me down to no end! Much more helpful and much more knowledgable than my local reptile shop - I would recommend to anyone who is uncertain about anything or just looking for general reptile advice! If I’m ever in the area, I’ll be sure to pop in even if it’s just to stock up on supplies - I’d much rather support individual businesses than corporate chains any day!!

Fantastic service from Laura, I purchased a tinie weenie Versicolor sling. Packaging was great and delivery was very quick! Would definitely recommend and will be purchasing more from here �

Fab reptile shop!! Always so clean & tidy, animals are amazing with really nice set ups & Laura goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. Her knowledge is incredible & I always learn something new each time I go! The only downside is I want to take all of the reps home �

Cannot recomend this store enough but heres my experience so far. I went into the store after a mention from a colleague wanting a gecko i said i was open to anything so was sson presented with a gargoyle gecko wich i immediately fell for it was so cute but i knew i was window shopping for a month ahead this wasnt a problem tho was helped ever step of the way with all my probably annoying questions with nothing but politeness and enthusiasm. I was sold what was best for the gecko and myself not just things for the sake of sales and my viv was ordered ready in advance and my gecko reserved my family bow uses this store too and i cant see myself shopping anywhere else for anything even in the future if you want a reptile or something wierd this is the best place for it id rate higher but 5is the limit

Being somebody who is very picky about the reptiles he buys and who has visited reptile shops up and down the country I can honestly say the Reptiles on sale at Weird Creatures are of the highest quality you will ever see. But the real value is Laura herself; her passion and knowledge goes a level beyond your average shop. We have never been happier with our Beardie and Mossy Leaf Tailed Gecko and we will always find an excuse to make the 100 mile round trip to visit the shop again and again �

After coming into Weird Creatures one weekend, I decided that this was the place that I wanted to get my Royal Python from. Laura was really helpful for when we were deciding which morph we wanted (went with a Banana Pinstripe) and helped us with any questions and queries we had. She was even kind enough to let us bring in my Western Hognose to sex him, who then turned out to be a her! Would definitely recommend this shop as Laura is really nice and knows so much about reptiles! Will definitely be coming back soon :)
