Well thank goodness it wasn’t Truckfest this weekend who brought the rain?! However this week for St Ives has been a busy one from machinery relocations, cabin moves and even sending our John on tour with Evolution Dome .
Meanwhile I (Julie for any new followers 😉) is feeling educated at King's College London one of our much valued customers for more optical table instals we will follow our guys as the delivery lands in our depot through to install.

As part of our Silver FORS accreditation we are constantly keeping up to date with new version requirements, today our training officer Ian Newham and I Julie have ventured down to Croydon to check in with FORS themselves. This weekend has seen two of our guys John Abbott and Jack Pepper-Williams in Geneva delivering The Silver Spitfire - The Longest Flight where she is to be displayed. It's always a privilege working with our customer Boultbee Flight Academy and we look forward to seeing the return journey. It's just a shame that our John was away when his home team Leicester lost this weekend to Newport 😉⚽️

Happy New Year to you all we hope you all had a lovely break? We have kicked things of here at Welch's Transport Ltd and Welch's Specialist Movements & Welch's Crane Hire with a bit of SUD's (Safer Urban Driving) and are putting our guys through the paces of everyday cyclists as part of our accreditation for FORS. Today they take to the A505 from our Duxford depot and take on the challenges of the day to day traffic to raise awareness whilst they are driving on the roads themselves. Working together with FORS Training UK Fleetsource.

Well... where did 2018 go? Looking back across the year and what a busy one it has been from the relocation of RTTL and Pinnace for Raf Museum Hendon and to working with Imperial War Museum Duxford and ICS Robotics & Automation, we have had our share of varied work which wouldn't have been possible without the team we have here at St Ives.
