Watching Moana yesterday at an affordable price as a loan parent was brilliant! Loved the film and great sunday afternoon trip. I never knew you did these reduced films until saturday. I was able to follow it up with a little history lesson with my children about the Maoris and green stone. Thankyou! :-) x

Mama mia, here we go again.

Lovely old cinema with up to date films. We have got the Merlin Annual card which gives us money off our entry ticket and 2 for 1 on Mondays

User

Love this cinema , all the up to date films ,comfy seats, friendly staff .

Just watched the Darkest Hour, a remarkable film in a remarkable Cinema. If you truly want to experience the full meaning of this film what better place than in an original picture house that lived through those difficult times. However, don't be put off by this grand old survivor and the thought of a second rate presentation. The picture quality was excellent and the sound balance just right. Well done Wellesley & Merlin!

User

Good cheap cinema with very friendly and helpful staff. It's like a cinema from years ago

User

Amazing building, great staff...go here, way better than any Odeon!

User

Always enjoy a trip to the Wellesley. It's a beautiful cinema with really friendly staff and a fantastic range of films. All for an incredibly good price. Our home from home!

User

A lovely little cinema with a very friendly atmosphere showing films at very reasonable prices. The staff were very helpful indeed. We shall certainly be returning in the future.

User

A good old fashioned cinema and sensibly priced x

User

A friendly cinema with helpful staff. I am happy to go to watch a film alone here.

User

A fantastic place which didn't give the impression that it was all about money like the big multiplexes do. Friendly and cosy, I'll always go there in future.

User

Was quite quiet- but that’s good - cheaper than Taunton

User

Very good, my only complaint (again) is that volume far to loud !!, I’m sure that no need for it to be that loud as a lot of speakers around!, I found it best to sit at the back so underneath speak then it a bit more bearable!! 😕🙉

User

Lovely spacious cinema with different levels, good sound, picture and light quality, I like it when they put the lights back on gradually after the film so not to blind the audience, friendly staff, definitely be using it more often

User

Lovely cinema with good prices and nice atmosphere, but the ticket purchase continues to be a problem especially during busy times. Appreciate tickets can be bought online but if several friends want to sit together the only way seems to be to join the long queue which is so slow because refreshments are served at the same time. Desperately needs separate ticket purchase and refreshment sales areas. A bit surprised this hasn't been addressed as there is considerable vocal complaining in the queue each time!

User

Love the Cinema as it’s a welcoming friendly place & the price is good. I watched Star Wars the last Jedi yesterday with my wife & 2 kids (11 & 12) the major negative was it’s the coldest I’ve been EVER in a cinema & I’ve been to lots of small unique ones like Wellesley. We did express this to the staff & I know the heating was on full blast but sadly the draft was at times unbearable (we moved several times but it was the same all over the room) We stuck it out but sadly this has put us off visiting again until the warmer weather!

User

I watched the live take that concert at the 02 and was surprised that the cinema wasn't full . It was an enjoyable evening and glad I watched the show

User

Disappointed. Visited tonight to watch wonder which was fantastic. We sat back row down stairs. All we could hear through out the movie was the staff talking and messing around in lobby.
