Wellingborough Dog Welfare, or Wellidog as we are more fondly known is a local charity in Grendon, Northamptonshire, and we are dedicated to making life easier for strays and unwanted dogs locally from surrounding areas. Founded in 1993 we have been rescuing stray dogs for over 22 years and are still as committed today as we always have been.

With so many abandoned and unwanted dogs entering kennels every day we are committed to finding loving homes for all of our dogs. We are a no-kill shelter who believe that second hand dogs make first class friends, and we work around the clock to raise funds to care for the dogs in our care while we search for their perfect forever home.

All of the money we raise goes directly to our charity, but we can only carry on the work we do with the help of people’s generosity. We do not claim expenses for our work, our payment is seeing the dogs in our care transferred to a forever home and becoming part of a family where they are loved.
