The Wellington presents Lawrence Hill & Friends with an afternoon of Live Music out on the Terrace.
Enjoy a late lunch or an early dinner with some amazing sounds for the whole family to enjoy.

This months Vegetarian Special is our ever so colourful Beetroot Gnocchi which has be paired with beer soil, beer and apple chutney and the eygptian condiment - dukkah.
Its pleasing on both the eye and palette.

Filo crisps, spring onion, cucumber and a sweet plum sauce come together to make our delicious Confit Hoisin Duck Roll. Size is not an issue, when the flavours are so perfectly balanced.

The Wellington Inn has been shortlisted for the 'Quirkiest Place to Stay' in the Eviivo Awards 2018 - Britains premier annual award which celebrates the best of Britains world-class bed and breakfasts, guest houses, inns and small, independent hotels.
We are absolutely delighted to have been recognised through this shortlisting and we hope we are successful at the awards ceremony on the 16th of October.

Highly Recommend! I visited The Wellington for the first time on Sunday and what a lovely atmosphere, such friendly staff, they all made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived! The food looked amazing! next time I visit I will definitely being coming for dinner or lunch! otherwise I'm just missing out ;) very impressed! thank you for a lovely experience!

Friendly atmosphere and staff. Good food with decent portions and plenty of choice. Large wine list to choose from. Walk ins are easily accommodated for smaller parties and large table bookings managed well. I'd recommend to friends and family.

Lovely surroundings and nice outside eating area but disappointed in the limited lunch menu and waitress could have checked up on us, never got the coffee we asked for and finally had to find someone to get the bill.

Went for a meal back in February from start to finish a real poor level of service, with food missing from starter and mains. Expressed concerns to the rude Manager who didn’t have the decency to speak to us regarding this. Didn’t appreciate the reserved sign being placed on our table either before our food had even arrived and ushering us on as there “was a large booking coming in a couple of hours” Really put a sour cherry on top of our birthday celebrations, disappointing!!
