User

we love to pop to the cafe on the way home from a walk or even just for a little trip out, the ice creams are the best I’ve ever had, and the view from the little terrace is stunning!

User

We needed somewhere for lunch for 12 of us - this sounded perfect, and it was! Lovely food, much bigger menu than we expected, service was great and we all had a lovely time. And the ice cream...

User

We enjoyed a lovely Roast Beef Dinner today, everything was cooked perfect. Their homemade cakes & many different Ice Cream Flavours are delicious. The kids love seeing all the animals and playing on the park + everything is reasonably priced with excellent service. Thank you.

User

We booked ahead as members of our family are disabled and we needed wheelchair access and diet needs catered for. This was absolutely no problem. The diabetic on a low carbohydrate diet had chips replaced with a large portion of salad with the lovely butterfly chicken breast with bacon and cheese. 10 of us were having a sort of reunion - My husband was adopted and we only researched and discovered 2 years ago he was the middle brother of 11 and met some of them. They are now mostly grandparents, so we had a young grand nephew with us who thought the hot chocolate with marshmallows and the ice-cream were awesome!

User

We also found the farm by chance whilst passing through from Cockermouth. We ordered an afternoon which was excellent, the staff were very friendly and the views from the outside seating area were lovely - we will definitely be back!

User

Popped along late Sunday afternoon for an ice cream. My son is 2 and a half and he loved the delicious ice cream as well as the animals, toy corner and quad bike! Thank you very much. Stunning setting. Friendly staff. I would definitely recommend xxx

User

My kids always visit with both sets of grandparents and they absolutely love it, my eldest son especially loves the quad bikes and driving around, never personally visited but the kids always come back happy and fed and grandparents always have such lovely things to say when they come back

User

My colleague and I stopped here in our way back from a photography job in Weymouth. We unknowingly came through the B&B door -had we gone via the tearoom entrance we would have seen the closed sign! Completely oblivious we sat down while the owners happily served us a cream tea without saying anything about being closed! Exceptional friendly service here. Delicious cream tea. Heartily recommend it. Thank you!

User

Mum and dad go every week for lunch!!!! My kids love it too it's one of the highlights of their visit to Granny and Grandads!! Have to admit I love it too!! Their food is fab and the staff are very friendly and they have good ice cream and go carts for kids!

User

Just visited today for lunch with my sister, neice and her baby. Were made to feel very welcome by staff and the food was delicious. A very child friendly cafe with lovely staff. We will be back

User

Had a brilliant time on Saturday at Wellington Farm for Spooky Wood. Both kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were their usual friendly, helpful selves even though it was mega busy. The kids received wands, made magic potions, watched a magic show, had an unlucky dip and had a really nice hotdog box meal and we got to enjoy a mulled wine and one of the delicious cakes plus wandering around in the spooky wood. Well done to everyone at Wellington Farm the event was amazing. We couldn't recommend it enough and can't wait until next year's

User

Great place with lovely friendly staff, can't recommend highly enough. Good menu and delicious food, visit here regularly with friends and family and never been disappointed with anything. The views are stunning and plenty for kids to do with the play area and the paddocks with the assortment of animals.

User

Go regularly with a friend. Food and service always fantastic. Love seeing the animals and the changing view. Stunning in summer and cosy in the winter. Only recently discovered the fun elements to a stroll through the copse.... I recommend you to all my friends.

User

Found this little gem whilst on holiday. Popped in and had a lovely cream tea. Liked it so much we just had to have breakfast the next morning before setting off home. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of it. We will be back in November when we next visit the Lakes.

User

Been here a few times, just keeps getting better. Food was beautiful. The cakes are just devine. The staff are always so friendly and attentive. The new 'stig in the dump' section outside is brill, my 7 year old daughter loved it.

User

Love this place. However after raving about it to a friend we went there last Saturday only to be quite disappointed. Food was not great at all, both lunches had to be sent back and I didn't end up paying for mine (service was great however). Knocked off a star as hoping it was a one off and they haven't replaced the cooks

User

User

Found this by chance on our way home from Whitehaven to St Annes on Sea so not our first visit.Went for a late lunch and found the senior citizen menu was just the right size and freshly cooked. We will be back.
