The best pub in York by a country mile. Sam Smith's Old Brewery beer is a truly traditional pint, try the stout - outstanding.

This is a gem of a pub. Walking through the door is like stepping back in time. So much character. Really friendly landlady. I had the best pint of Old Brewery Bitter I had ever tasted. Beautiful!
