Well done everyone, we came 5th out of 16. In the banding world it's all about points. Looks like we're going up to the 2nd section! 😃😃

The band are having a final run through of our test piece before we set off for Kenilworth for the regional competition. Wish us luck 🙂

Good evening friends, family and followers of the band.
As the year draws to a close we would just like to take this opportunity to reflect on another wonderful year of music making. We thank all of the players, parents, family and friends who practice hard and juggle diaries with offspring, siblings and broader family commitments to enable each and every rehearsal to happen, come rain, come shine.
We are very fortunate to play at many prestigious events through the year f...or our community and further afield, which without an audience become glorified rehearsals. Thanks to you, our audience, for enabling live music to continue and for safeguarding another generation of musicians.
Wishing you all a wonderful New Year celebration to you and your families, we look forward to seeing you in 2019.

We will be entertaining the crowds with traditional carols & other Christmas tunes at Hadley on Saturday 22nd from 12 - 2pm. This is the postponed event from last weekend.

A very big thank you to Christ Church, Wellington for hosting our second annual concert.
We played to a full audience who enjoyed a selection of Christmas and Jazz/Big band pieces. There were several soloists throughout the evening who all played beautifully, even the Dawley Triangle-ist!!
We very much look forward to doing the same next year!
... Special thanks to everyone who helped arrange the tea, coffee and cakes in the interval, they were delicious.
