"Last year this time I was feeling quite ill, heavy and lethargic, and was prescribed blood pressure tablets. I was horrified at the thought of needing medication and had a dread ...of becoming вҖҳoldвҖҷ, infirm and immobile. I donвҖҷt want to be a burden to my family or the NHS because of being morbidly obese and all the problems associated with that. I hated my appearance, not being able to find and wear nice clothes and not being agile in my movements. Since June I joined AbaвҖҷs classes and have been motivated to improve my health and lifestyle choices. Over the years I had forgotten about myself and my weight slowly increased and with that depression which led to comfort eatingвҖҰchocolate, cake and biscuits and hating myself for this. Because of a busy life I missed eating meals.
Now I put myself first and make sure I eat regularly, I drink more water and try to exercise more. I find Herbalife products a life-saver, especially the meal and snack bars when IвҖҷm out and about as food вҖҳon the goвҖҷ is often the worst in terms of good balanced nutrition. I have lost 2 stone (29Ibs to be precise), IвҖҷm half way to achieving my ideal goal. I feel much happier, IвҖҷm reducing my clothes size, IвҖҷm more agile, my blood pressure has improved, my skin has improved. Being conscious of what IвҖҷm eating and considering protein intake, I never feel hungry. I no longer crave chocolate, cakes and biscuits. I now cosider better high protein snacks instead. The thought of eating high fat and carbohydrate foods does not appeal to me at all. Sessions with Aba have been informative giving facts on research into health, wellbeing and nutrition.
My weight loss has been slow but my eating habits have improved which is important for my long-term health and wellbeing. Being part of a group on Facebook has also helped to keep me focussed."
