James Wells and Sally Mackereth set up Wells Mackereth in 1995. Since then, the practice has created some of London's best known spaces, including Smiths of Smithfield, West Street bar restaurant and hotel, St. Paul's Cathedral restaurant, and Pringle of Scotland as well as multiple Giraffe restaurants around the UK.
