Positives are; very nice breakfast and helpful, welcoming staff. Can't take away the disappointment of the tired decor and the general feel that the hotel is well past its prime. It's also way out of town so no good unless you drive. Personally, I'm unlikely to use it again. It's mediocre and Travelodge is probably a better choice. Only benefit of Wensum over other choices is it has a gym and pool.

Lovely location and super friendly staff. Reasonably priced for drinks and food, I'm looking forward to going back in the future.

Went to a wedding and the place was beautiful. The view was amazing and the staff were so helpful, nothing was to much trouble. Highly recommend.

The room was comfortable but the bathroom had a lot of black mould which was not nice.
The evening meal was good but the breakfast could be improved with a better selection of fruit salad, some quality plain yogurt and decent quality bread. Hence the rating for the price.

Great value for money and bar food. The rooms could use some updating...

Room was very dated. Carpets were stained with what looked like blood. The meal was poor, had "bangers and mash", but no veg supplied with meal. It was literally just sausages, mash and a bit of gravy.

Wedding attended. Lovely service and good food. Place and views were beautiful.
