... The government have just given a 6 month extension to light vehicles with an MOT after the 30th of March. This is to allow vehicle owners in isolation to carry out their MOT test at a later date.

Garages are considered an essential service so we are still Open.
The DVSA has said that, for the moment, MOTs for cars, motorcycles and light vans are continuing.
... This position is continually under review based on the changing situation and advice from government.
If you or anyone you have been in contact with has any of the government listed Coronavirus symptoms or has recently travelled back from any of the affected countries you MUST NOT present your vehicle for MOT. Follow the government advice to stay indoors and self-isolate. Please phone us to re-arrange your appointment and DO NOT come to the office.
When presenting your vehicle to us please ensure it is cleaned down with antibacterial wipes when you get out of it. Clean the gear knob, steering wheel, parking brake and door handles and anything else that you touch regularly.
Please drop all Keys through our Letterbox at the front of the Garage.
Be reassured that we are operating high standards of hygiene including regular hand washing, deep cleaning and disinfecting areas of customers vehicles we come into contact with. However, we recommend you follow the same cleaning process when we return the vehicle to you, including disinfecting the key.
Please be aware that we are currently not able to offer a waiting area in reception and the office will be closed to maintain social distancing with other members of the public and our staff.

We are only accepting card payments over the phone / BACS payments at this time.
Whilst our garage currently remains open for business during these challenging circumstances we are mindful that our staff and our customers health and well-being is our priority.

Contactless collection & delivery can also be arranged.

We would like to reassure all of our customers in this time of pandemic we will be working carefully to ensure everyone stays safe, All of our staff will be wearing gloves and ensuring the door handles, steering wheel, handbrake etc are all fully wiped and as always full seat covers will be used.
Maximum of 2 customers in Reception at any one time and to be stood or sat 2 metres away from one another.
