It's that time of year again, pre season starts this thursday and as always everyone welcome!

Just a reminder there will be no junior session this Saturday due to bank holiday..but we will be back next week! all welcome to come down and try ages 3-7. 9.45am, victory park! Hope to see lots of littlies there to keep our lanky busy 😀

This Saturday 28th April will be our Men’s Open Age awards night at Barnoldswick Cricket Club. Doors open at 7pm with the awards at starting at 8pm. We will also be running a race night to go alongside the awards, so get yourselves down and cheer on your horse and your favourite rugby league team!

Last Saturday showed a great success of numbers coming down for our 3 - 7 year old taster session. We are continuing this saturday with a 9.45am start down at victory park, the kids absolutely loved it and we hope to see even more children taking part!

Its our awards night next Saturday (28th), down at the cricket club barnoldswick starting at 7.30pm. We are having a race night which is always eventful and great fun, everyone welcome, the more the merrier!

We are looking to start a junior section here at west craven warriors, with a taster session starting this saturday at 9.45 - 10.30 am. If you have any children aged between 3 - 7 that would like to come down and learn the fundamentals of rugby league then come to victory park pavilion this saturday. Your child will learn the basics of passing and catching but most importantly team work and confidence, we have a fantastic coach that will get the best out of your child no matter the age!!

The lads are in action tomorrow, we welcome Ovenden to victory park for the return clash. The lads came were unlucky at the last meeting losing by a small margin with just 13 players against a selection of 22. 2pm the kick off , all support in these last 4 games would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Our current shirt sponsor , The L/CPL Jordan Dean Bancroft fund , made a nice donation to a very worthy cause. Combat Stress is a charity to help and aid veterans from the armed forces dealing with mental health issues. Mr and Mrs Bancroft's kindness will certainly help towards veterans dealing with this matter! Well done Tony and Sheila!!!!!

No game this week for the boy's and that now marks the end of fixtures for this year. We will be back in January for the second half of our league fixtures, so until then on behalf of everyone here at West Craven Warriors I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New year!!!!!!

Well a bit of madness happened this morning in the rugby league world cup, Fiji beat New Zealand in a tryless contest to win 4 - 2 !!!!

The team has been selected and it shows our squad is going strength to strength, few names missing out this week and the boys know that individual performances will now determine position safety , big game tomorrow and the boys are well up for this!
