Stuart, Pat & Marie have been busy decorating our window for the Whitehaven Town Council 4th July window dressing competition. Our theme is John Paul Jones's attack on Whitehaven during the American War of Independence and also the connection between Whitehaven and George Washington.

It's our Annual General Meeting on Friday. I can't believe it has been 12 months since the last one. Last year we were treated to a fascinating, funny and thoroughly entertaining talk by guest speaker Gerard Richardson MBE. Check out some of the photos from last years AGM.

Imagine not knowing what time of day it is. People with sight loss often have trouble telling the time as they are unable to see clocks and watches. Talking clocks and watches are great as you can get the time and even the date at the push of a button. Check out this video of our most popular talking clock. We stock a wide range of talking watches and clocks, please call into our Centre for a demonstration. https://youtu.be/TPAe9dDNt-4
