Stuart, Pat & Marie have been busy decorating our window for the Whitehaven Town Council 4th July window dressing competition. Our theme is John Paul Jones's attack on Whitehaven during the American War of Independence and also the connection between Whitehaven and George Washington.

Our information and specialist equipment exhibition was a great success on Friday. A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who attended and to The Chase Hotel for their excellent hospitality.

Imagine not knowing what time of day it is. People with sight loss often have trouble telling the time as they are unable to see clocks and watches. Our Allerdale visually impaired group visited the Helena Thompson Museum for lunch on Thursday 13th September. A great time was had by all. A big thank you to Marie for organising another wonderful outing.
