Considering what they do, if there was a rating of no stars, I would give them that! No answer and I live abroad. Horrendous.
Father in law passed away 11 months ago.
My partner and I have rang numerous occasions to no avail (mostly unanswered). Tried contacted by email and still no response.
Appalling service, phone calls are not answered, no information provided. We had a call 10 days after my father's death to provide cause, but they haven't sent the paperwork to the registrar so we still can't obtain a death certificate to sort out pensions, banks etc, even though the coroner said it would be there the next day. Got to number 1 in the queue then went to 3rd! I think they forget they have to deal with the living as well, such a lack of compassion!!
I don't actually want to give them a star rating as they don't deserve anything g but I can't post this without selecting one.
I am a friend and executor for a person who died last September and have at last been able to speak to someone who advised me that the inquest had been opened but not yet completed. No explanation given!
Horrible, tried asking for death certificates for my father but didn't send them even though fellow colleagues had said they had been printed off 2 weeks before. Still waiting for them
absolutely appalling ......our loved one passed away on 8th march in suspicious circumstances....have phoned and phoned ....all it does is ring .......I'm now just awaiting the cover up of the treatment of loved one at a local hospital ......no one has been able to say goodbye since hospital didn't ring to inform of of our loved one passing away until 12 hours after he had gone ,and then we were told as it was a sudden death the coroner is involved ,this has been especially hard for my two sons who wanted to say goodbye to their father .....will be going there personally tomorrow morning ,....but as I say. ....not expecting the truth
I've now been told that noone can see loved one as his body is purging ...How horrific is that ...Bloody appalling ..No doubt due to the face Charing cross hospital failed to put next of kin on paperwork .It seems they didn't bother to store body properly Natural causes ? Yup just as I thought !!!!!!
My boys have been denied a dignified farewell to there much loved father ...How dare they treat people like this ?????

Absolutely night mare, no communication between mortuary/ coroners office, delays in getting information's, regrading deceased postmortem,
Absolutely the worst service or lack of service I have ever come across. I have contacted WLC on several occasions and received absolutely no response what so ever. My father passed away in October, we had to wait almost 3 weeks for the decision from WLC to arrange the funeral so I was unable to see my father before hand. I have still not received the actual death certificate.......I've tried calling, emailing.......NOTHING!!!! This is such a difficult time which have been made a whole lot worse by West London Coroners. Frustrated and Angry! Jane Cameron
