Without a doubt, WMSG (Hodnet) is one one the finest grounds in the country, the staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. Tuition if required is as good as it gets, the food is very good, the facilities are clean, topped off with a great layout, suberb targets and fab clubhouse, it's got the lot!

What a fantastic ground and wow what a fantastic day at our 1st visit to Hodnet today with Caerwys clay & target club . Great range of birds and rabbits shooting in wonderful surroundings and some challenging clays We will definitely be back. Thanks

We had a great day and the staff Neil and John were great Instructors Tony Hugo and the little fat one were good as well .seriously we had a great day out

Took my girlfriend for her 1st shooting lesson with Tony. I was really pleased with the way she was taught and she found it really useful and by the end of the lesson had hit a fair ammout of clays. Will definitely be booking another lesson

This place is definitely the Wembley of shooting grounds with plenty of stands & mixed targets & really good cafe & gun room.

Really enjoyed my lesson with Tony this evening. Superb instruction and nice and relaxed, I found it really helpful and am already looking forward to my next lesson. Thanks guys.

My 13 year old son and I had a shared hour lesson with John and it was fantastic. John was calm and engaging and made the experience successful. We're coming back for more in a couple of weeks.

Me and my partner had a lesson this morning with Tony, one of the instructors and he was really fabulous! I didn’t get chance to thank him at the end as I couldn’t find him so if someone could please give him a big Thankyou from Clare and Neil and hope to see him soon �

It’s my husbands birthday and we’ve always wanted to try West Midlands, so I telephoned to see if we could possibly get an appointment and Neil was so friendly on the phone and managed to get us in! Me my partner and my in laws have been quite a few shooting grounds over the Midlands and Wales and we had never experienced an escorted shoot before. It was absolutely amazing!! Dave who came round with us was so knowledgeable and such a nice man, he really did make it fun for us... it is the best shooting ground we have ever been to! Thoroughly enjoyed it! All the staff were very friendly and welcoming! Can’t wait to come back again! Thanks again to Dave for such a wonderful day.

Had my first beginners lesson today very professional, Hugo was fantastic really made me feel at ease i feel i learnt a lot today and really enjoyed it. The ground itself is fantastic and all other staff were very welcoming thank you.

Friendly staff great, Heugo is a great coach with a sense of humour making it fun. Recommend it to anyone great place. Overall a friendly environment open to all.

Fab time clay shooting. This ground is superb and I recommend to everyone to go there and have a go. Looking forward to going again in April with CP Foods.

After a two year hiatus (busy busy busy) I took the team back to Hodnet for our first clay shoot. It was fantastic, Tom and Debs were as usual fabulous and hosted us supremely well. Our refs were also just great. Wonderful day, great weather and a facility which is simply second to none…cheers guys. Tim

A HUGE thank you to Tom and the staff at West Midlands Shooting Ground for looking after us fabulously today. We only travelled across to have a look at a gun I am interested in, ask some questions and get a feel for it. Before we left they had allowed both me and my wife to shoot a dozen cartridges each of different weights through the gun, all at clays. They were very happy spending lots of time with us giving fantastic advice, and instruction too for my wife who had never fired a shotgun before.

All this for no charge!!

A wonderful experience, and we can't thank you enough. I know where I will be going to buy my new gun.
