Disorganized courses and incompetent arrogant rude mewling quims for staff. Place should be closed down and half the courses already have. My course leader old man Smithers just dresses up as a red indian and never turns up to lectures. During the 1999 war for independence Bury was annihilated leaving nothing but what has come to be know today as Wilko. This college clearly hasn't recovered. Of course this pales into insignificance when compared to the Jadoon invasion of 09, when the college was transported to the moon and boarded my angry space rhino's who demanded we sing "i've got a brand new combine harvester" while they searched for fugitive aliens. I also feel the principle has an unhealthy obsession with destroying Buzz Lightyear. There have been improvments, including the successful twinning with the island of Sodoor, it even has it's own fat controller! You can enjoy a variety of sports here such as pig hurling, sheep hurling and more pig hurling. There's even morris dancing which is great if your dead. Though the college slogan "My fecal matter provides a better educational experience than this so-called college" doesn't describe the incomprehensible evil that is WSC. It has a number of claims to fame, notable ex-students include; Tinky Winky, Big Bird, Barry Scott, Little Chef, General snarl of the tenth sontaran battle fleet and Slimer from Ghostbusters. These people literally couldn't organise a meltdown at Chernobyl. On the plus side there's a cheap petrol station nearby with a good selection of pies and anti-freeze and easy access to the A14.
P.S There is a lack of seating in the so called bistro and the tenth level is occupied by thousands of battle droids.
kicked me off the course for no reason after changing entry requirement post GCSE results. They said both maths and english could be a grade 3 however I just received a message saying that I need at least a 4 and have been subsequently kicked off the course with very little time to find a new course.
Would not recommend Uniformed Public Service's . The course was very poorly run and some staff in particular the course leader, were very un-helpful. An example of this was was when I was capped on a presentation assignment because my course tutor was unable to view it as she was running late. Another example was when the course leader took my work in, lost it and then told me she doesn't have it so never received it. I think that the initial response from the college here which made no attempt to help but was just sarcastic is a pretty good indication of the attitudes of staff towards students complaints. I spoke to the deputy principal but got nowhere because all she did was ask the staff if there were any problems with the course and they predictably said no. She didn't ask any other students. There is effectively no one to go to if there are issues with your course because it's easier call anyone who complains a liar than actually improving course quality.

Such a shame that West Suffolk College allow any driver to use the disabled parking spaces. The parking attendants say that it is College Policy to let any one use disabled spaces if the car park is over flowing.
I booked a course on 31 Jan and received a confirmation email "pending successful payment." They took my money the next day so I assumed all was fine. 2 days before the course was meant to start on 5 Mar I checked the website and my course had disappeared. I telephoned and was told my course had been cancelled. I asked when they were planning to inform me and they told me that they were going to put a letter in the post that day which would only have arrived on the day my course was due to start. They said they were waiting to see if any late bookings came in but I struggle to see how this would be possible given that they had taken the course off the website. I had set aside time to attend the course and bought materials in advance. When I explained this to Denise I was told "she is only one person and has lots of courses to cancel!" The utter disregard shown to wasting people's time is unbelievable and I will not be booking again.
