West Yorkshire Rospa Advanced Drivers & Riders Description
West Yorkshire RoADAR is a registered charity that celebrates its 25th Anniversary in 2012. Our team of gold-standard tutors provide advanced driving and riding training on a voluntary basis free of charge to our associate members*. The Group meets on a monthly basis at Miners' Welfare Hall. Main Street. Garforth. LS25 1AA , where guest speakers are invited to present on topics associated with advanced driving and riding, and other topics relating to road safety. We also hold a number of outdoor events throughout the year, which in 2011 included Off-Roading in a series of 4x4 vehicles, a Large Goods Vehicle event, and a Manoeuvres Day. Membership costs just £20 per year.
Please note that tuition cannot be guaranteed for those living outside West Yorkshire. Other regional RoADAR groups are available (see www. roadar.org for more information).
*Associates undergoing motorcycle training are asked to contribute towards their tutor's fuel expenses.
