Westcourt Tango

Westcourt Tango bring Argentine Tango to East Kent, with regular classes in Whitstable as well as hosting popular monthly tea dances and milongas

Westcourt Tango hold regular weekly classes in Argentine Tango. Classes are held in Canterbury City Centre.

In Canterbury there are three regular classes, an Absolute Beginners Class for those who are just starting Argentine Tango, a Beginners class where you will learn the fundamentals, technique, style and basic steps of traditional Argentine Tango as taught in Buenos Aires.

The Improver /intermediate Class builds on the technique and fundamentals learnt as beginners and will introduce you to the musicality of the dance combined with some more intricate steps

There is a 15 minute Practice Session between the classes. Open to both groups.

There is also normally a half hour free beginners lesson from 2-2. 30pm before our Monthly Tea Dances in Shepherdswell

We welcome everyone to our events, regardless of where you normally dance.

We also host monthly tea dances on a Sunday afternoon, often with live music, see website for details.

Following our successful evening events in Sandwich and Littlebourne (near Canterbury) we will be holding occasional Saturday Night Milongas with live music during the year.
