Good experience. However my issue was not resolved as this is a subsidiary and take longer times to repair. They booked an appointment to the nearest apple store.

£84 to get a diagnosis that my machine required a new logic board and a new display. I struggle to understand how my laptop can require both of these components replacing when the screen was clearly working in the shop before turning off intermittently. I got the macbook pro home after declining the £1300+ charge to replace these two components, to find out my macbook would boot up fine and the screen works perfectly. Limited fault diagnosis information was given to me, although they pick up two stars for the fact they responded to my emails very quickly. No explanation of anything when I went in to the shop either. I won't be using them again. Next time I'll just use an official Apple store....

Very unhelpful staff, I regret every second I spent in this store. 11 month warrenty left still he was thinking about warrenty.
Asked us to go back home and update phone and problem will be solved..
what a joke.. also Very reluctant to share store WiFi, saying it will take 2-3 hrs so go home. Actually took 3 minutes in store .. will never use this store...

Used Western Computers for both repairs and buying laptops and accessories for my company and dealing with them is always a pleasure. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

I contacted the Leamington store by e-mail in order to enquire as to whether they would offer the service I required - I was dealt with promptly and professionally and told when it would be best to come in. I turned up on the date suggested, and was told my laptop would be in for probably four working days. Two days later, it was ready for collection, and was soon back with me and completely sorted out. Would happily visit again.

Cannot believe they scratched my Mac book when it came back. The will cover their back with the proverbial "wear and tear" clause within the receipt to be used as a get out of jail free card. Very dishonest practice staining Apple's reputation.

Fantastic Experience!

After my 4 year old Mac would no longer turn on, I took it here and within 3 days I had a working Mac again! quick turn around with a smile! Thank you so much!

Great experience!

So I came in with my wife this morning and received great service! Her macbook charger had bust, so we rushed to the computer store first thing. Unfortunately, in our haste to get down there so quickly, we forgot to check the model of Macbook that we had! Luckily the staff there are all technically clued up, and were easily able to work out which machine my wife owned with just a few simple questions. While she completed the transaction, a young man named Alex talked me through the newest Apple machines, including the new touch bar Macbook! Truly wondrous design, and Alex was so enthusiastic and easy to talk to! I've read some other reviews for this computer, and can't fathom how a store with staff this knowledgeable and friendly could offend anyone with at least half a brain! Really enjoyed my experience so I thought it only fair to share my thoughts! Keep up the good work :)

THE WORST COMPUTER STORE I HAVE EVER BEEN IN OVER 35 YEARS IN THE IT INDUSTRY.

I had the misfortune to buy a replacement power supply for a MacBook Pro 10 months ago from Western Computers in Leamington Spa. The cable on the computer failed whilst still inside the 1 year warrantee period so I visited the store on Saturday afternoon to obtain a replacement. The broken cable was clearly visible.

The young man behind the counter who thought it was appropriate to referred to me as “mate" said he was not prepared to honour the warrantee and exchange the power supply and that I would have to wait a minimum of 5 days for a technician to look at the item and they might be prepared to give me a refurbished unit. When I told him this was not acceptable and was in contravention of the sales of good act 1979 he preceded to become extremely aggressive and his two colleagues came stood next to him in an attempt to intimidate me. Luckily, I am 6’ 3’’ and am more than used to dealing with threatening behaviour. Had I been smaller or of the opposite sex I would have probably found this extremely uncomfortable. To be honest, I was somewhat astounded by their attitude in what is traditionally a customer service lead industry.

It was 4:20pm on a Saturday afternoon, so I quickly went back to the car and drove straight to the Apple Store in Solihull arriving not long before closing time. Within five minutes they had accessed the item and given me a replacement power supply even thought they had not sold me the original item.

In the case of the Solihull Apple Store they also have great technical staff. On the only other occasion I visited Western Computers in Leamington Spa when I had an issue with a MacBook Pro video card. They seemed to have no technical knowledge and did not even understand that there were two video cards. I was so concerned by their proposed ten day turn around and lack of even basic technical understanding that I took the machine to an Apple Store who fixed it by the following day.

To summarise, If you want anything Apple either go to a to an Apple Store or John Lewis. Both have excellent customer service and staff who are polite and helpful.

Had to use them a number of times because all the nearest Apple stores are still over an hour away from me. The guys are friendly and knowledgable and always work to get me the best deal - somehow they got my defective screen replaced for free when they were quoted over £400 for it! Always a much more pleasant experience visiting Western Computer than I've ever had in an Apple store.
