Amazing Place. Amazing staff. Arrived there with no hope, Left there with hope. Will always be grateful and lucky that I was given the opportunity. I was given a first class education at Western Counselling, the rest is up to me now. Will always be grateful, there are so many who want it and don't get it . I have so much gratitude for Western Counselling they completely broke me down, but they built me back up with new strength, love, faith & hope for myself.

A year ago today I was admitted to Weston Counselling for treatment of alcoholism. It was the greatest thing to ever happen to me. It taught me so much about myself but more importantly that I can change, and continue to do so through the help of the fellowship. Having experience of the 12 steps at WC and the power of them has set me on the path of recovery and kept me close to my choice of fellowship and what I choose to call my God.

It was not an easy ride. Many times I felt hurt or angered, but those feelings were only masking my fears and pain. By the end of the 6 months of treatment I could see how my default settings were a built in survival guide that I engineered to hide my addiction and were not helpful in the real world. It took hard work and risk taking to break down my barriers and the staff were amazing at not only helping me break those barriers and knowing they were there but by helping me build myself up again when I was vulnerable.

I was challenged many a time about my behaviour, but they did not give up on me. They were fair, honest and caring. I owe so much to WC and my peers in treatment with me at the time. Thank you all.

I went to WC many years ago. I am sober now for 5 years but no thanks to them . Staff were bullying us and encouraging peers to do the same. Oh they had there favourites. As I didn't wish to go on to secondary care they kicked me out with no where to live. Now that could of or should I say putting me at risk . My advice don't go there .
