For any fans of our lovely 8 resident cats. These are made to order at £10 each. Can be a black, oak effect or white frame. Collection from Westgate Ark Café and can be posted at extra cost if required. Please message if you would like to order one :)

Westgate Ark Cat Cafe is open all day today, please visit our eight cats and enjoy a cuppa here! Looking after the cats today are Natalie and Lani.

Westgate Ark - End of the Month Sunday Market 30th September from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Our second Sunday Market is being held outside our Support Shop & Cat Cafe in Fenham.
There will be lots of old and vintage stuff, cat stuff, quality items, unusual and collectable items for sale!
... Inside the Cat Cafe, there will be free entry and drinks, to anyone spending £3 or more at our Market.
All profits raised will go towards helping our Cat Homing Centre work!

Local author Maya George will be giving a reading from her new novel 'Look At Me Now; Evolution of a Northern Soul' at our Cat Cafe in Fenham.
Maya will be reading an extract from her book, and this will be followed by a question and answer session and a discussion.
... Maya will sign dedications in copies of her novel which will be available on the evening at a cost of £8 per book. All proceeds received in sales on the night will be donated to support our cats.
Maya is a great cat lover and volunteer and supporter of Westgate Ark.

We have all had a lovely afternoon today visiting the Westgate Ark Shop & Cat Sanctuary Cafe, its definately worth a visit even if you are a cat lover or not!��



The owners are just lovely & the cats are the cutest little things, bless them! It’s £3 for a hot drink & a biscuit & you can spend an hour cuddling the cats & feeding them treats! All the money goes to helping the cats in need at Westgate Ark! Watch out for Ollie tho, he is a tinker! He’ll take the treat packet straight out of your hand!���



They have lots of other nights on too, such as Film Nights & Quiz Nights just ask the owner and he will tell you all about them!��



Such a lovely little place, with a very relaxed and homely atmosphere!��

We had an amazing time, the cats are just lovely, as is the lady who works there. It was like being in a really comfy, welcoming kitchen, we just felt so at home. The cats were so friendly, I got more attention from them in the time I was there than I ever get from my own cats lol.

We had an amazing time with all the kitties. Thanks cath for all the drinks and chats. You all do an amazing thing looking after all these babies. You could spend all day there. My son loves Grace to bits. One beauitful family �� they are all lush.

Very friendly staff, incredibly good value, cats seem genuinely happy and are well cared for, I've recommended the cafe to loads of friends and everyone has reported good experiences

On my first visit today, I had a lovely cup of tea and biscuit, and got to meet Grace, Ollie, and other lovely cats! The humans were very friendly too!

My first visit to the cat cafe and I loved it. The volunteers are worth their weight in gold! The cats are amazing, so friendly and gorgeous. This is my number one charity I always donate things I can to the shop when I’m having a good sort out as I know all profits go to helping the cats in their care. Lovely people working for a great cause, the cats are cute as anything & soooo cuddly, one even jumped on my shoulder!! Cats, Tea, biscuits & bargains! What's not to like? You can rest safe in the knowledge that any money you spend goes directly to helping the rescued cats.

Loved it. The cats are lovely and in a great environment. The hosts were very friendly and informative and we had a lovely time petting the cats and drinking our coffee/green tea.

I absolutely had a great time with my daughter today. My favourite cat was the tabby with the little bit of white on its tail and my daughter loved the black ones. The bloke who served myself and my daughter is an asset to west ark.

Had a lovely visit today and the kids loved feeding treats to all the cats, will definitely be back, wanted to bring all the cats home but my grumpy cat would never forgive me

Everyone is so lovely, love helping out and making conversation with customers! the cats are the cutest babies I've ever met, I have very high hopes for this place, with thoughts on what could be built inside/out in future it's clear that Paul has high hopes this will work out, and I certainly hope so too, such a cute, small, friendly place, hoping more customers appear and regular customers also appear!

Couldn't be a better place anywhere, easy to get to, friendly staff and cat's, plenty going on, Bingo on Tuesdays, some Friday nights there's a Quiz night, Tea, Coffee, Biscuits. Well worth a visit.

Amazing! The cats are super friendly & absolutely gorgeous - Theo was nosing in my handbag within minutes of arriving, the place is spotlessly clean & crammed full of interesting cat related items. And the staff, especially Kath, were so welcoming and lovely to us. We had the best time & I’d recommend it to anyone as cat mad as us. We will definitely be returning!
