great pub with great bar staff who always make you feel welcome. highly recommend trying the dinner they serve on sundays. finally had the chance to try it the sunday just gone and the food was superb. shall definetely go for food again, whenever my next rare sunday off from work next comes around of course!

You feel welcome even it is your first vist, friendly staff clean and comfortable pub with an excellent selection of beer � and your favourite tipples cated for pure bliss �

What a great pub, definitely the nicest in Heckmondwike. It has a great little function room too which is perfect for small/medium parties.

The staff here are great, super friendly and really helpful. They went out during our function to buy a certain whiskey just to help keep one of our guests happy.

I would highly recommend this pub and they have guest ales as well as a large stock of premium whiskey.

We had our daughters 13th party here in the function room. Great room the DJ was fantastic with the guests. All the staff where fantastic could have not been more friendly. Recommended.

Paid £10 for a ticket to last nights psychic night, WOW is all I can say, not just for me but other, laughs were had and tears were shed, the 3 mediums were phenomenal and would definitely want to know if this event is rebooked again, to be honest there isn't an event here I haven't enjoyed !!!

My cousin had her baby shower here ..its a nice place good staff ...would recommend it as a venue ��

Lovely Sunday dinner here with the family today .. quite a few different choices of meats , mine was beef dinner with all the trimmings washed down with a cold beer. Catered for the kids aswell

Held a surprise party here last night and it was the perfect venue! The function room is private with its own bar and full AV capability, the staff were fantastic and everyone had a great time � five stars all round

A nice comfortable pub with attentive and caring staff. Only problem is no alcohol free beer so have to settle for soft drinks. Would suggest San Miguel or Brewdog Nanny State !!
