Westminster Academy Description
The Academy opened in September 2006 and we moved into our award-winning building in Harrow Road, W2 in September 2007. Our student roll is expanding to accommodate 1175 students aged 11-19, including our Sixth Form which offers the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
As an International Business and Enterprise Academy, we have an innovative approach towards preparing our students for the 21st Century. The Academy has more than quadrupled its examination results at GCSE since it opened, increasing from 17% of students achieving grades A*-C including English and Maths in 2007 to 70% of students now achieving these grades.
