This is the best venue in London, the most idyllic setting on the Thames, wonderful views, fabulous reception rooms, delicious catering and incredible, accommodating staff, all led by Cherie and her team. We had the most glorious evening dinner dance there and we cannot recommend the venue more highly. Michele and family

Happy Valentines day to all you gorgeous people. We look forward to hosting some of your engagement party's and weddings receptions. x

What a fantastic venue, the staff are exceptional and really accommodated everything that was asked of them. They are so professional and polite, and Cherie made sure everything was perfect. Our DJ and Magician added to a brilliant evening which all 150 guests enjoyed! Thank you again, and we will be booking again next year for our Xmas party.

We’ve just held our wedding reception at Westminster Boating Base and would like to say a huge thank you to Cherie, Stan and the team. They were helpful, friendly and welcoming to everyone.



Being an event co-ordinator myself, it’s hard to take a step back and let someone else take control of your event. With Cherie and her team, I had no doubts about leaving everything to them as I could see from the first visit how professional and organised they are.



From the moment we first viewed the venue right up to the end of our reception, they all went above and beyond to make it a perfect day for us. (Even got us our favourite beer)

Well what a fantastic venue for a staff party. Retro team are so professional and know how to throw the best party in town!!! The venue itself is amazing but to top it off the staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The DJ Martin was great and played all the requested songs, the food supplied by thebbqking was excellent and the amazing magician Josh Brett stole the show. The feedback I received on Monday from our employees was brilliant, everyone enjoyed themselves and said it was the best party that the Kennel Club have organised. And a special thank you goes to Lenny our butler, for being so attentive to our staff. We will definitely be booking next year and for other functions during the year. Thank you again for everything.

We've just had our wedding reception at the westminster boating base and couldn't be happier with absolutely everything; Cherie, Stan & the team there were so helpful and supportive throughout the entire process, nothing was too much trouble. On top of that, the venue is beautiful and the food was fantastic!



He had such a wonderful day and that's in no small part due to everyone at Westminster Boating Base, all of our guests have commented on how much fun they had, how good the food was, and how smoothly everything went.



We will be (and have already started) recommending westminster boating base to all our family and friends.

We had the most amazing party at this fantastic venue. The setting and lighting makes it feel unique. We loved having two separate rooms, one for dinner and one for dancing, and balconies onto the river.

Thank you to Cherie and her team for being so organised and calm throughout. She made us feel very comfortable and confident that the party would run smoothly, which it did!

We recommend this venue and the band 'The Redfords" very much for a 21st party like ours, or any other special occasion.

Was here on Saturday for a 21st birthday,perfect location,felt like a celeb entering,red carpet entrance. Very modern, trendy venue right alongside the river. The staff were amazing,polite and very friendly. Loved the fact there were 2 rooms for use,one for the main gathering/food and the 2nd was used for the actual party with a dj,fantastic lighting system. Had a great night. Would highly recommend this venue for future use.

The biggest thank you to the wonderful Cherie and her team, who made my son’s wedding reception so memorable . The venue is in a beautiful setting with fantastic riverside views and shaded gardens . The organisation of the reception beforehand was very friendly, helpful and efficient- on the day everything ran like clockwork thanks to Cherie who reassuringly kept us up to date with timings. Afterwards, the efficiency was in evidence again as we were reunited with personal items before we left! It couldn’t have been a more enjoyable occasion !

Thank you to Westminster Boating Base for hosting our wedding on 5th November last year. We had such a great day and everything was perfect from the welcome, the way the venue was dressed, the food and the music...to top it all we could also see the firework display at Battersea Park from the balcony!!! All our guests commented on what a wonderful venue it was and how good all the staff were!!!

Thank you to Cherie and her team for making my 50th birthday amazing. Great food, wine and service and their resident DJ, Stuart, had us all dancing away till the small hours of the morning. Throughly recommend it as a venue for any special event.

Thank you SO much to the Westminster Boating Base, Stan, Peter, Danny and the rest of the team. We held our wedding reception there in October and would highly recommend the venue and team for anyone looking to throw an awesome party.



Before the day itself, Stan and Peter were so quick to respond to our questions making it such an easy day to organise. Nothing was too much to ask and they were so flexible about how we wanted everything but also gave us lots of useful advice.



When we arrived on the day the venue looked amazing. The views alone are fantastic, but the tables had also been laid so beautifully and exactly as we'd requested. The disco room and adjoining balcony over the river (with bar) are a really great addition as it meant some of our guests who wanted a quieter catch up could stay in the main room while the rest of us partied into the night.



I really couldn't recommend this venue and events team highly enough. They made our day better than we could ever imagine!

Fantastic venue with a brilliant team led by Cherie and Stan. Stunning views over the river in the evening make it a memorable location to host any event.

Fantastic 2 days out on the river to get my power boat ICC and CEVNI. The instructors, kit and facilities were great, and the passion with which the instructors taught us 8 novices how not to kill ourselves (and others!) was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended.



They are a charity and do a lot of work for (young) people from diverse backgrounds to enjoy water sports. I will absolutely support them - be it through donations or volunteering - please do so, too.

Cherie and the Team at Westminster Boating Base know how to ensure everyone has a thoroughly good time. I just photographed my second wedding here and everywhere I looked on both days guests were relaxed, laughing and really going for it on the dance floor. It is a pleasure to work alongside a Team who really cares that the couple has the best day ever. I highly recommend this London wedding venue.
