Went to the Westwood for our mums birthday. Amazing staff. Very nice and helpful. Lovely head chef Matt couldn’t have been more lovely and the food was amazing. Highly recommend.

We visited on Sat night for our 15th wedding anniversary and had the fixed price menu as the price was so good compared to the a la carte. We were not rushed to our table and had the option of having a drink first at the bar which we did. The food was excellent and, apart from my husband almost being covered in wine from a nearby table, the service and staff were superb. I hasten to add it was not the fault of the staff. Looking forward to visiting again.

Sunday Lunch was fantastic as was the service. Definitely 5 Stars from me!

Not my first Sunday lunch visit, and certainly not my last. Not the cheapest one I have had but certainly the best. The setting ,ambiance,friendliness of the staff made it a wonderful day. As for the food all three starters were excellent. The giant Yorkshire pudding with the fresh vegetables complimented the succumbed roast beef. I would and have highly recommended to family and friends. I also have dined mid week a few times and very much enjoyed it. Keep up the excellent work we will be back.

My husband and I ate at the Westwood yesterday evening for my Birthday. From start to finish everything was just perfect. Food, staff, service - just brilliant. We have eaten at the Westwood a number of times and I personally think it gets better and better - can't wait for our next visit!

My first visit yesterday food and service was excellent we were greeted with a very warm welcome and as we walked in the busy chefs all said hello all the front of house staff were very professional and attentive looking after my dietary requirements

In 60 years, Saturday's lunch at the Westwood was arguably the best meal I have ever had. Every single thing was perfect. The marrow bone was a first for me. It was sublime. The service was attentive but not over bearing. Wonderful food and a good atmosphere. The last meal I had in the area was at the Pipe and Glass and I don't remember that being as good. The 8 hour round trip from London was definitely worth it. It was a shame the market in town was closing by the time we got there but next time we'll get there earlier �

I was invited to the Westwood for my birthday lunch. We travelled from Tickhill to Beverley. Did a spot of shopping and then the lunch. It was absolutely beautiful I am looking forward to the next visit. X

I treated my husband as a birthday surprise and as usual we were not disappointed. The Westwood do the best fillet steak I have ever tasted. I rang a few days before the Saturday and asked if we could be sat in the main area of the restaurant as it was my husbands birthday and low and behold when we were having our dessert a young waitress came to our table with a macaroon with a candle in it, what a lovely gesture. everything about the Westwood is 5 Star. Happy 10th Anniversary

Had a wonderful Birthday meal there yesterday. The service was exceptional and the staff extremely friendly. We have eaten there before and thought it the best yet. Congratulations!!!

Excellent meal on Friday!! Had smoked salmon, leven duck leg which was to die for, cooked perfectly & the sausage cassoulet was lush! But that hot chocolate marathon pud was just too good for words!!! Always a pleasure eating here 😋😋😋
