Weybridge Methodist Church Description
Welcome to the Facebook Page of Weybridge Methodist Church. We hope that we shall also be able to welcome you to a service at 10. 30 am on Sunday. Along with other Methodist churches across the UK we are part of a 'Circuit. ' The leading of worship is shared between Ministers and lay people, know as Local Preachers. This gives variety to the worship as such preachers bring a wealth of different experiences to the services they lead. It also means that the style is never exactly the same each week. We try to have a time of fellowship after every service and hope that if you can you will share something of yourself. Or just enjoy a cup of tea or coffee! You will also be welcome at our more informal evening services that take place each month.
We believe that Jesus preached the Gospel - the good news of the Kingdom of God. Through Jesus' death on the cross, and his resurrection, Christians believe that God has broken the power of all that is evil, in the world and in ourselves. If we accept forgiveness and liberation, and are willing to be open to the Holy Spirit, God can enable us to resist evil and to live life to the full.
Living as a Christian means much more than going to church. It involves a life-long journey to follow in Jesus' steps. This will mean trying to apply what we know of God through Jesus to all the different aspects of our life, and make choices in life based on this rather than just our self-interest.

Our worship for Easter Sunday is led by Rev Sydney Samuel Lake at 10.30 am and will include Holy Communion. Come and join us for worship followed by refreshments- including Hot Cross Buns.

There will be no service at Weybridge Methodist church this Sunday (30 December), instead we meet to worship with our friends at Merrow Methodist Church.
Normal weekly worship resumes at Weybridge Methodist church on Sunday 6th January.
