Did you know there are 17 species of penguin? The smallest is the little blue penguin, also known as a fairy penguin, which is around 33cm tall, all the way up to the largest, the emperor penguin, which you can spot on the Penguins: A LEGO brick trail around Plymouth 🐧
Take part in the trail and you could win a Penguin feeding experience at Living Coast for four people!
Stop by Tradewinds gift shop at Living Coasts to find the p-p-perfect present for the penguin lover in your life this Christmas! Guests can visit the shop without having to pay zoo admission 🎁

Polar Bears need our help and they're bringing an important message to Plymouth this winter! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
Awareness of plastic pollution is becoming more prevalent in today's society. 8 million tons of plastic are dumped in our oceans every year and only 9% of the plastic produced globally since 1950 has actually been recycled.
Be a Polar Bear Explorer and find each of the Polar Bear cubs around the waterfront, collecting all the bear facts.
... Once you've found all 20, post your entries or submit them using our online form, and make your pledge to help Polar Bears by reducing single-use plastics at home, school and in the workplace.
To find out how to get your hands on the explorer brochure and how to submit your entries visit > https://www.visitplymouth.co.uk/…/polar -bear-explorer-p2593…

Fabulous city. Nice beaches not too far great places to eat and peaceful countryside short drive away. What more can you ask for x

User

Love my home town, there are some wonderful investment plans in the next few years that sound exciting, I think we've just been forgotten about down here and it's now time for Plymouth to get back it's glory! We live in a beautiful place it just needs a bit more love invested in it!

User

It's a good holiday resort and people are nice as well

User

I went a few years ago....fabulous firework displays. Lots of extra activities and food and drink venues. Also it must be noted that we parked in a P&R and were most impressed with the operation by the bus companies to get everyone out of the town centre at the end of the evening.

User

A city of art and sun and the sea a place to be seen.

User

I think events in Plymouth should reflect its Maritime and Nautical heritage. I also think it is about time we had a decent Lord Mayor's Day parade again, to draw in the tourists.

User

I also come from Plymouth.

It is a city,not a town

The Fireworks are Fantastic

Unfortunately my pertinent comments have been removed from the site as I don't think they like any negative feedback. How childish.

User

Not really a nice place to visit I find it dirty loads of wheelie bins all over the pavements potholes everywhere and cars parked right on pavements so u have to walk in the road and not a very welcoming place

User

Not happy about the website for ticket purchases for MTV crashes event! Missed out twice now, well as long as you make money from my on hold phone call of 20minutes,... and i rang 10 minutes before lines even opened! Complete rubbish!

User

Lovely people and you have a good time in the evening, Sadly the city centre has declined to only a handful of decent shops surrounded by shabby xmas market stalls and pop-up art galleries selling overpriced tack.

User

If you are a motorist visiting Plymouth, you need to be aware of the city council's policy of restricting bus lanes 24 hours a day. I have recently "Invested in Plymouth" for making the mistake (my mistake) of using one at 20:48! A mistake I'll avoid making in the future by considering Portsmouth for a channel crossing.
