CASTING CALL! On May the 3rd-5th will be performing two One Act plays! The first of which is Blue Remembered Hills written by Dennis Potter. Directed by Daniel Peckett.
Our director is currently looking for: Two Female actresses 20's Five Male actors 20's
... Auditions will be held at the Radford Social Club 226 Radford Road CV6 3BQ on Wednesday 13th of March at 7:30pm.
SYNOPSIS: This deceptively simple tale relates the activities of seven English children played by adults on a summer afternoon during World War II. In a woods, a field and a barn, they play, fight, fantasize and swagger. Their aggressions, fears, hostilities and rivalries are a microcosm of adult interaction. Easy going Willie tags along as burly Peter bullies Raymond and is challenged by fair minded John. Plain Audrey is overshadowed by Angela's prettiness and wreaks her anger on the boys. All of them gang up on the terrified "Donald Duck" who, abused by his mother and ridiculed by his peers, plays a dangerous game of pyromania with tragic results.
CHARACTERS: Angela Audrey Peter Donald Duck Willie Raymond John
If you would like to become a member of our fantastic group then this the perfect time! We hope to see you next Wednesday night!
