Ian is a great mechanic and looks after all my servicing and maintanance needs. Reasonable rates and always willing to help. Highly reccomended.

Really, really good local bike shop. Nothing is too much trouble. Ian is a very knowledgeable and capable mechanic. Would award 6 stars if I could.

Called in for some advice on moving to a road bike. Ian was so patient with me and offered tons of advice. He even let me try a bike around the town to see if it was really what I wanted. So pleased with my bike - I just love it and it was the perfect choice for me. Thank you Ian. 5 stars just doesn't seem enough.

I took my bike in to have a new bearing fitted. It was done while I had a wander around the town. It is nice to see someone who enjoys their work. As I was riding home I noticed he had pumped up my tyres for me. What a nice man.

I first visited Wheelbase as an unexpected stop while cycling LEJOG as mu back wheel disintegrated on the approach to Whitchurch. Ian prioritised me and after a short coffee and snack break later he had me back on the road with minimal cost.

Now that i live in the area, i visit wheelbase for any spares i need for either my road or mountain bikes. Ian has a great working knowledge of bikes and is personable and friendly.
