My son was treated here over the weekend. The staff were caring, informative and fast acting with treatment. The ward was clean and had good amenities for parents staying over night. I am truly grateful for their brilliant care.

After all the reported & unreported stories I have heard about Whipps Cross Hospital, I took my son to an out patients appointment yesterday and was very pleasantly surprised. Having entered the hospital at the opposite end of where we needed to be, we was greeted several times by friendly staff & volunteers who were only to pleased to help direct us to the correct department, walking from one end to the other of the quarter of a mile corridor, our first impressions were 'this is wasn't what we was expecting, it is so clean & tidy!, on reaching our designated waiting point, we were greeted by friendly helpful staff & again a spotlessly clean & tidy area, I would also like to add the toilets were also spotlessly clean too. The clinic was run in the most professional manner & ran to time!
Well done to all at Whipps Cross, you have turned our beloved local piece of amazing architecture back into a superb hospital, offering a first class service, I have experienced filthier private hospitals with longer waiting times and no explanation of why the clinic is running 2 hours behind schedule.
You have done yourselves proud Whipps Cross, long may it continue.

i have my appointment with Mr Ahmed Consultant Orthopaedic today at 14:20 but doctors are running late because they are also working in a private hospital one of the staff ask me to wait till 16:00 or cancel my appointment. I have to pick up kids from school 15:30 but I can't because of doctor running late. This not happening first time every time I come for my appointment I have to wait 1 or 2 hours or if someone is late 15 min for there appointment the doctor didn't want to see them this is ridiculous

Went to A&E with chest pain at 10 p.m on 02.08. 17 wait until 1.03 A.M. Didn't see any doctor. They announced it could be 6 hours to see doctor. Finally decided not to see doctor. Because i can't wait for that long. Went to reception around 1.03 A.M. and told her not to see doctor and keep my chest pain with myself. She looked in Computer and laugh to me. As well she told me she will withdraw my appointment. No sympathy. Finally came back home without see doctor and keep my chest pain with my self. Really feel shame and sorry myself.

The service when you call the switchboard number is very poor. When someone eventually picks up they tend to put you through to the wrong department or the it rings and rings and then will hang up. I have the same experience everytime I call the switchboard number, it's one of the worst Ive experienced for customer service.

I have visited Whipps Cross Hospital on number of occasions including hospital stays. I have never felt worried while I am there as they took good care of me. I have always found every staff really caring and nice to me. The doctors are great and take time to listen to you and answer your questions. The A&E is great at prioritizing emergencies and are always try to see kids earlier. It is really assuring that the hospital is so well managed and organized. Keep up the good work. Always recommended.

All the doctors, nurses and attendants were lovely and smiley, really nice people. Yeah, things sometimes things take a little longer than you'd like, but they're clearly doing the best with the resources they have and I believe they are doing a brilliant job.

The A&E children's department are wonderful. The Nurses and DR's went above and beyond to make sure that my son was well cared for. We were seen very quickly and my son was admitted to the Children's ward for immediate treatment. We could not have been in better hands. The whole team are so kind and helpful. I cannot thank them enough.
