Whitby Holiday Park

Helpful friendly staff. Clean caravans. Get positioning for getting around whitby and north yorkshire

We went to stay in our tourer. The views were amazing but be warned it can get very windy and we chose not to put the awning up. There is a walk down to a beach right next to the park entrance. There is also a walk into town from the park which apparently takes 20 mins but we didn't have time to do it. There is a bar which seems lovely and a cafe and a shop but they were both closed due to us going in low season (Nov). Toilets and showers were nice and clean. Plenty of water points around too so you don't have to walk too far. Staff were very helpful and will definitely be going back.

Told me I would have to book in for the night when I only wanted to park for about two hours to go down to the beach!!! Not happy with them at all.

Excellent place good facility's the barman Gary was brilliant with us and the kids would definitely recommend this place

We love this place, great site, clean with a good friendly clubhouse, ( except for bingo) nice cafe doing great food , well stocked shop, nice clifftop walk past the abbey to town, and a breathtaking walk down to the bay, with a even more breathtaking climb back up, take some binoculars and watch the seals come in with the tide,

Really nice site. Great park for kids awesome walk to the Abbey it's ideal. Great cos it has shop small club and cafe defo be back. Shame noisy families aren't told by the warden tho. Bit of control wouldn't go a miss but all in all great visit.

Whitby holiday park is good but would be better if on a bus route so we didn't have to use so many taxis. Also the camp site could do with a nice restaurant for the evenings. The shop is good and the bar was quite good too. Need a bit more adult entertainment. But overall would come back .

Been here 3 times. Loved it. Possible to walk to Whitby and back along the cliffs. Beach hard to access for some, but worth it if you can.

Great site, gets very busy so book early fur the sea view.

My experience of Whitby holiday park was not very good,. Not that I have ever been there and am unlikely to do so!

This is because each time I have tried to book a holiday "on line" the application will not accept my booking. Kept coming back to "check availability" despite my having entered all the proposed booking details!

Tried eight times and gave up. Have now booked elsewhere,

Lovely quiet escape and so close to whiby & your own beach great for fosils & fishing &crab& other shell fish
