Have you ever wanted to get up close and personal with some of the sea’s most amazing creatures?
Well now you can with the help of Whitby Whale Watching.
So few people realise the North Sea, just a few miles off Whitby, boasts such a rich variety of sea life below the surface.
Over the past few years the whale watching trips have spotted minke, fin, sei and humpback whales as well as thousands of seals, dolphins and porpoises.
Watch for a "blow" as the whale breathes out, see the arch of the back as whales show themselves whilst swimming towards or even alongside the boat! Experience the smell of fish on their breath, or maybe even a breach - before they disappear again to the murky depths below!
You don’t need to travel the world to experience this amazing sight – you can do it off the coast of Yorkshire’s premier resort – Whitby!

... Trips are now of varying times, length and price to give you the best chance of seeing wildlife.
There will also be 2 hour family friendly Coastal Cruises running throughout July and August at 6pm which have in past years also had good whale sightings, these are not currently bookable in advance so just turn up and pay on the day. Further updates will be posted here and on the website.
