Cool Architecture, I wonder why the tracks are switched around..
The station suffers from lack of lifts or ramps down to the platforms and the information displays can confuse passengers when there is a train in the center track due to the odd track layout.
My local station, a very busy interchange on the central line that generally runs smoothly except when engineering works cut out the full length service to Ealing Broadway. There's a toilet if you're desperate, a transport control hub that will answer your questions if you're polite, a good snack kiosk and a cash point. Avoid travelling before 10 am and after five when the entrance is swamped with White City Place, White City living, and Westfield employees going or coming off shift not to mention manic match day punters arriving to watch their team play QPR .
This tube station is lovely and very much steeped in history. There are brilliant 1930s Art Deco scooped sides, great window styling and hunge.
In the atmosphere friendly to no - QPR supporters?... Quite a few good place for a pre/ post match drink in the Bush.
No reason fot abandoning passengers is give. We are just left here as fools on a slow boat to China
