White Hart Hotel

Stayed for two nights with a group of friends, fantastic staff and a great room, and a very tasty breakfast, already booked for next year, wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Only the x3rd time I've been in the White Heart and found the place has a friendly atmosphere, staff are happy to help and always smile

Met my girl friend there for our very first meet so it will always be a special place for me

Brilliant hotel. I wanted to book extra night but they were booked up. Will certainly make the trip again and stay here. The room was large and spotless the staff were very friendly.

We both ate steak and chips the quality and value was superb. You get 20% off every thing as a guest. Free parking was a big bonus as we had a car and a large van.

Brilliant hotel with a fantastic atmosphere in the bar with friendly helpfull staff and the food and drink was excellent plus my room for two nights was perfect aswell, will be visiting again soon in the future i hope.

Above and beyond service. Nothing is too much trouble and I can be demanding and awkward :) Outstanding customer service ethic that is rare these days. Thanks for a great experience.

Visited at lunchtime - very quiet. Ordered portobello mushroom and lentil pie with veg. Very tasty although didn't find any evidence of the mushroom but to be honest I didn't miss it. Veg was carrots and kale the latter a little salty after a few mouthfuls. Good value for money, filling and hot. Would visit again.

Visited Newmarket for the Newmarket Nights yesterday so popped in for something to eat before the races - bar was really nice & modern and spacious but by 3.15pm we were told the kitchen was closed but we needed to eat. Went into the Beer Garden with our Bottle of Prosecco so we intended to stay for over an hour and people were still having food brought to their tables. Disappointed. After the races ended and went back into Newmarket for another drink we returned for a drink and the clientele were a bit younger than us but we stayed and enjoyed our drink but observed a young woman getting very verbal and bodily threatening to someone in a Booth

Security should have been straight there

No security even approached them! In the end angry chat fizzled out but again...where were the security? All chatting at the front door

Pleasantly surprised nice clean air conditioned decor. Friendly staff. Evening meal tasty pub grub our party unable to have puddings as told Chef had gone home!. Oh the ladies loos smelt rather of drains. Will use the hotel again.

Oldie worldie but clean and pleasant enough. Bit more character than Premier inn. Breakfast was good and staff very polite and attentive

Had a sharing platter which was more than enough for two, lovely variety and well presented - would definitely recommend

Ordered Sunday from the table which thought was strange but ordered, waited 40 minutes then asked where food was! Somehow are order from a piece of paper did not make it to the kitchen ..... we believe went to somewhere else

Not offered a sorry ... just u will have to wait .... no have a drink on us while u wait 1 hour and 10 mins later

Also then had to pay but will say very nice so will be the better person but no to the service as should be offered a gesture. This has let the place and staff down very disappointed to return for food

On whole the service was bad on one at 5he bar that could serve. No one taking used plates away after each course. The pork belly wasn't cook correctly. It'll be a long time before I go back to eat. �

We had a roast and it was luke warm. the lamb was tasteless and the roast potato's white.. wouldn't have a roast there again. The service was slow but the staff friendly.

Hotel website headline advertises “A Great Night’s Sleep” ..... which is blatant misrepresentation since what they neglect to inform you of (until you check-in) is that there is very loud music playing in the bar until 2:00am !! .... and there were no other rooms available!! Music is so loud I actually think it would probably exceed Health & Safety limits. If it were not for the noise the room would have been reasonably comfortable

Very slow service today. My meal was missed from order. When it did turn up everyone else had finished eating and it was cold. Told it would be free, then they tried to charge us for it. Drinks didn't turn up at all. They had run out of fruit shoots, but still tried to charge us for them. No carrots, no ketchup, I could go on.....

This is such a shite place to stay, don't ever do it!! The hotel had very small rooms and is massively overpriced, and that is before the constant loud music that means you cannot hear yourself think in your room, at midnight!! Don't stay here!!@

They think it's ok to charge more for all their drinks on race days and sale days without informing customers. We went to purchase a bottle of prosecco for £19.50, they wanted to charge us over 20% more at £24. I'm not sure this is entirely legal so I have reported them. When we challenged the Supervisor about this he was not at all understanding in fact he went out of his way to argue the issue. Very poor customer service which resulted in us sitting with our friends without a drink, and ruining the whole experience.

Sunday lunch. Ordered at the bar, an hour later i asked where the food had got to. I was told the kitchen was busy. After questioning the whereabouts of our food no less than four times, over a TWO HOUR period, i was told our order hadn't made it to the kitchen. Im a patient person. My food was refunded and we continued to wait. A further hour passes,so i question the whereabouts of our second order to be told it has been given to another table. A free desert is now offered for me and my partner. No less than 3 hours after ordering. Our dinner arrives, were we not so hungry we simply would have left. When at the bar ordering our free desert, i was questioned by staff as to why it was on the house and told it would have to be checked by a manager, only for the desert to then be forgotten also leading me to question its where abouts.



Worst service i have honestly ever experienced. Almost laughable. We entered the White hart at 1:30pm for lunch. 2 courses over 4 hours.



Absolute joke.

Roast chicken served so raw it almost walked off the plate. Disappointed and disgusted! Thankfully noticed before my little boy took a mouthful of his.. I have been a customer here for ten years, NEVER again!
