Thank you to everyone who either donated or attended the recent charity auction. As soon as we have a final figure I will let you know. Thanks again, Dee

Can I just confirm that we don't do food, we are a wet led pub. Thank you

We would just like to thank all of our customers for a good year. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Great 2016.

The Pizza boys are back this weekend......woop,woop!!

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank the lovely elderly lady who sat and peed all over one of the chairs today. Then to add insult to injury, she moved and sat on the back seating. So not only have I had to clean a chair but also a long cushion from a back bench seat. I sincerely hope that whosoever car you travel home in, hasn't got cloth interior......as it stinks!!!!

What more could you want? For all those people who can remember the pubs of yesteryear - a truly "old fashioned" drinking establishment! No flashing machines, no loud music - just the best Adnams beer. Positively no people under eighteen allowed. That's it really; people who drink there - well there are all sorts - locals, people on weekend breaks etc. Take your pick, you'll always find somebody to talk too!

What an experience. Atmosphere, great company, friendly welcoming people and great beer. What more can one ask for. It was a shame we couldn't stay longer.

We are hoping to move to Aldeburgh soon so thought we'd check our the pubs. We loved this one. Dog friendly but no children in the bar. No aires and graces. Will definitely be making this our local if we manage to complete on the house purchase.

This place is uniquely social and relaxing in a simple

space that is full of atmosphere and character

Very rarely does a pub achieve this so effortlessly.

You can't roll this out to other pubs that try so hard.

It's in its bones

This is a proper pub! Real beers kept very well, very friendly, nice open fire what else do you want? Oh and they do pickled eggs! :)

User

The pub was great! Fish and chips from next door was phenomenal and next time we'll get the pizza!

User

The pub is extraordinary in that the bar, the only drinking room, remains virtually unchanged since I first visited over 40 years ago. I love the old stained glass windows and the scrubbed deal tables, in particular. Children not allowed inside, although dogs are clearly welcome (not sure what that tells us?)There is a good yard behind the pub with benches and tables. A fairly recent addition (a few years) is the wood fired pizza oven in the yard. You are also welcome to bring in fish and chips from the adjacent shop providing you buy some drinks at the bar. More benches on the street in front of the pub which catch the afternoon sun. All in all, a very good place

One of my favourite coastal haunts. Great beer and right next to a lovely stretch of coastline and a great chip shop. What’s not to like?

User

Love this little place. Very friendly staff and locals. Dog friendly with a treat thrown in. Great ale too! Warm and welcoming. Will definitely visit again!

Just got back from a week in Aldeburgh went to the white Hart every day great pub great beer

In the not too distant past there were many lovely pubs selling a good pint of beer. Times change and many are now closed or restaurants with perhaps a small bar where drinkers take play second fiddle to diners. The White Hart offers a single bar pub, dog friendly, roaring fire when cold, friendly staff and locals and above all, a superb pint of beer. And, if you do want to eat you can get an artisan made pizza around the back in the summer. Great pub.

I've been going to this pub since the early 80's and I love it. If you just want a pub with a bit of character that serves a great pint, then the White Hart is for you.

User

Great pub where you can leave the hubby while queuing next door for fish and chips. Great atmosphere

User

Great little place. Busy and a good vibe. Close to the chip shop too.

User

Great couple of days in this pub with fab beer and friendly locals. We would recommend all day long

User

Great boozer

User

Brilliant pub staff always friendly and welcoming, lovely when they light the fire, you get a really good pint 🍻

User

A truly old fashioned locals pub & just what was needed for a swift pint on Christmas Day, everyone is chatty & friendly even though we only visit when we stay at our friends house!

User

Excellent, friendly place where we were offered a fabulously tasty mutton curry for free and a warm welcome. We were hoping for gluten free fish and chips from the famous Aldeborough chippies, but they cook everything in the same oil so that was a customer lost. We were delighted to go in the White Hart Inn instead and really glad to have done so. Will visit again next time we're up there.
