When I first started coming to WHL I sat with my brother, my dad and my papa in the old west stand. Showing my age! We used to joke that I'd only be able to marry a Spurs fan but it was only a half joke and luckily I did end up with one and we've been coming to WHL together for the last 20 years. Lots of memories. Yesterday was a fabulous send-off. Here's to a bright future ...
What a great day !!!!! Three points against Man United, and an even better send off at the end. Seeing all those Spurs legends.....Ossie Ardlies, Glenn Hoddle, Ricky Villa, Teddy Sheringham etc, really brought home how much history this great club of ours has got......
Bring on the new stadium...........CANT WAIT
COYS
What a great atmosphere for the final game at the old stadium. Of course I shall miss the old WHL but it was time to move on. Will I miss the queues for the toilets and the crush on the concourse - probably not. Hopefully it won't be too soon before the new ground becomes our fortress.
Watched the Grand Finale May 14th which ended with a 2-1 victory to Man U and an astonishing record of no home losses in the league 2017. Though old and worn it's an arena with a marvellous atmosphere. Hopefully the new ground will be even better
This stadium brings back 28 years of memories, taking my eldest son for first time to Spurs v Southampton in May 1989 when Lineker & Gascoigne graced the pitch and resulting in a 2-1 victory. This was the start of an amazing journey to that grand old stadium. As time moved on so more of my family attended, over those years we have seen many legends grace the turf of WHL. Yesterday was the end of an era for the stadium as it makes way for a fantastic new stadium for the 2018 /19 season only a few feet from the old ground.
This old stadium has gone to memory now, but the new White Hart Lane will rise out of the ashes! The shareholders/management can call it what they want... it will always be White Hart Lane to us. Can't wait to return to our new home!!!
Spurs new ground looks as grotesque as the price for a seat is going to be to watch 22 men kick a ball about with not even a brass band to play during the interval.Oh for the good old days when football was FOOTBALL played with men using a proper football and not a plastic ball as they do these days. Oh bring back the glory days of White Hart Lane when footballers were FOOTBALLERS and not overpaid puppets.
Some good and bad memories from this beloved old ground. Some special players graced the turf, opposition players too let's be fair! Legends that wore the Lillywhite shirt will live on in memory as will this great stadium!
Loved the place to pieces!! Some of the best times of my life there from going to my first match with my dad when I was aged 8 right through to now. So many memories and witnessed some truly brilliant footballers Ginola, Klinsmann, King, Van der Vaart, Bale and so many more. It will always have a special place in my heart. Nothing will ever come between my love for our great club and this iconic ground.
It's been the best 3 Seasons of my life the fans are great and the Stewards Supervisors and Manangent are the best.
When do I get the big cheque for writing this only joking really I've loved every minute of working at White Hart Lane
I've always loved coming to White Hart Lane with my dad and brother! I always felt at home when surrounded with my fellow supporters. Sunday was the perfect farewell for such a well loved ground and I will deeply miss being here but the memories will stay with me forever!
I love the lane , been coming to white hart lane for a good few years now and I'm going to miss the old girl , had some lows but also a lot of highs , what a fitting send off for the old girl yesterday , and we made it a fortress this season , I'll always remember the lane and take the memories to my grave , thanks for the 118 years , you'll always be remembered in every Spurs fans hearts 💙COYS💙
First got taken there by Dad with big brother in 1961/2 season. Does that make me a Glory supporter? Went more frequently during the mid sixties. Remember roasted peanuts being sold pitch side "tanner a bag", McNamara's band at the start of the game (so pleased when Levy brought that back). Goaltime competitions, half-time scores on lettered boards that you had to check against a key in the programme. Getting squashed on the terraces and getting carried forward with the crowd surges from behind. Watching the G-men taking defences apart. Fish & chip takeaway and a bus home. All that changed over the years but it was still always a great day. The last two seasons we've been privileged to watch some fantastic football. The future is looking good. It'll be strange spending next season at Wembley but then we return to our new stadium, back at White Hart Lane. #COYS
Fantastic time spent at and around WHL yesterday, was there for twelve hours! Unfortunately I didn't have a ticket for the match, but wanted to hang out there anyway...Watched the match in a near by pub. Great bunch of security staff at stadium main entrance, friendly and funny. Sad to see the stadium for the last time before turned to rubble, but looking forward to the new one.. Until then we shall enjoy attending Wembley... COYS!

Amazing atmosphere with the best fans. Will really miss the place but hopefully we can create more amazing memories in the new stadium. Fell in love with the club when we had both Gazza and Lineker in their pomp, however first game was in 1999 against Watford. We won 4-0 with Ginola scoring a screamer!
Loved the old stadium back in the day with players like Hoddle Perryman Ardilles Villa Mabbutt etc I could go on but I am looking forwards so much to the new era new stadium new ambition these are great times for THFC.
Considering it was the last game of that stadium. The boys did not let us down with how they played and the result. Just a shame about the weather! I travelled all the way from California to watch the game and it felt so special to be part of history! Hope it long continues in the new stadium.
