Walked here from Great Preston, it took about an hour and was definitely worth it!! We went for the lunch menu (3 course for £15) which was amazing!!

Great ales on tap too and good friendly service �

We will definitely be returning.

Sunday lunch here is superb!

We have roast beef that was very tender and tasty , excellent homemade to order not stood for hours Yorkshire puddings , lovely roasties and lots of veg and gravy all delicious and very reasonable !

Yummy desserts too �

Never really leave reviews but this place definitely warrants one. Best Sunday dinner I’ve had for as long as I can remember. Would I of changed anything? Literally nothing. Starter, main and especially the cookie and ice cream desert all amazing!! Service was prompt and food came within minutes. Well done White Horse you nailed it!!!

Myself & my family came to eat at this pub today after hearing great reviews about it. We all left very full & happy. The service from the staff was excellent & after me telling the bar girl i was a fussy eater & didn't eat meat, the chef came out & asked me what i liked to eat & offerd to make me a meal, which i tryed & was so happy, i enjoyed it so much. What a lovely difference to experience a chef wanting a none meat eater to leave so happy. My family i was with had mixed grilled meal. Gammon meal and fish and chips, we all left extremely happy and they said the meat they had never had as good before anywhere else. After enjoying such lovely food round friendly staff, we sat outside a little & really enjoyed the music outside while we chatted. Apmospher there was so relaxed. I would recommend this little pub to all my friends and family. We Will look forward too coming back. Food 10/10. Staff 10/ 10. Location 10/10 apmospher 10/10

My husband and friends eat at the white horse all the time and the food is amazing. The staff are very helpful and always really friendly and they make us feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble even though my husband is a celioc and just asks the chef to "surprise him with something gluten free" � he never ceases to amaze us. The owners wade and Adam are Fantastic hosts and you can see they take great pride in what they do. Love the open fires and friendly atmosphere, would recommend to all. �

My first visit after moving to the area.

Went with my mum and my miniature schnauzer Stanley who is not always the best behaved. The lunchtime menu was such good value for money. The jam roly poly was amazing. Everything was fresh and hot.

Even Stanley got his own little dish of beef.

Will definitely be returning.

And how nice to have proper chips.

Lovely food and the staff were very attentive and allowed us to decorate the tables and take our own cake as it was an anniversary celebration - been a few times now and would highly recommend a visit

Just had a lovely anniversary sunday lunch here. Service and Food were excellent. Those who know me well know how fussy I am over my mash so was alittle apprehensive when ordering my chicken with mash. I neednt have worried through it was delicious along with the perfectly cooked chicken with mushroom and tarragon sauce. Hubby had the topside of beef which was melt in the mouth. Lovely meal looking forward to our next visit.

I have visited the White Horse on many occasions for lunch, dinner, Sunday lunch and drinks. We recently booked for 15 for the festive menu, and it was absolutely beautiful. Can honestly say whether there is 2 or 15 of you the quality and consistently is not compromised. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. Thank you for making our Christmas get together extra special x

An enormous thank you to the White Horse for making our wedding yesterday so incredibly special. From start to finish, the owner and his staff did an incredible job.



They went above and beyond with the tables and flowers, and made it feel so special for us. The service was fantastic and the food was, of course, exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and thanks to the lovely team things ran so smoothly. It honestly felt like we were at a 5* hotel rather than our local pub.



Thank you so so much guys for making our special day so memorable. We will no doubt be back for a pint very soon. Xxxxxx

Always enjoyed a drink in this village pub wether it's with family or just my husband and I. Staff very friendly will call again.

Absolutely 5* service, great gin selection , the food was absolutely out of this world and the chips... I’d marry those chips!! We will be back ( a lot!)

10 years since we last came here. Mainly due to life style change etc and we had forgotten about it. Decided to call late sunday afternoon and see what was on menu. Lucky enough to get in on last 20 minutes of service so decided to order starter and main. Food was fabulous. Attentive service too. Fortunately we still felt hungry enough to order a pudding which was lovely. Asked if we wanted tea and coffee at end which we declined due to be absolutely stuffed at this point but happy. Will be coming again keep up the good work.

We visited yesterday for lunch, never been before. The service was very good and the food came quickly, no having to wait for ages. There was plenty to eat and it was all hot although my husband isn't keen in eating off a board and his fish and chips were sat on top of each other making it difficult to eat, if I had to add a slight negative point. The chocolate pretzel skillet cookie with ice cream was outstanding - I thought I was in heaven! Although full my husband and I shared a portion and it was more than ample. A very good first visit and we will be returning.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch this weekend. Couldn't fault the food it was perfect. The staff were lovely too and worked their socks off. The only thing missing for me was the presence of a front of house manager at the helm but other than that couldn't fault it. Will be back very soon.

Just popped in for coffee and ended up having ice creams too. Might pop back some time for food. Friendly helpful staff and good atmosphere 👍

Had lunch with my sister lat sunday i opted for the beef sandwich the meat was lovely the potatoes were lovely the big let down was the cheap bread i was expecting a bloomer type bread or well anything else other than the cheap white tasteless bread it let the well cooked beef and potatoes down in my opinion.

Went for lunch today for my birthday & we weren't impressed at all. "Triple cooked" chips were thick, pale & tasteless, scampi was cheap, I've had better from supermarket! Hubby's "home slow roast" ham looked plasticky, tho he liked the fried eggs! Was looking forward to visiting somewhere new but I'm very sorry, we won't be back. Loved the real log fire tho, lovely. Xx
