Wow, a huge space with very attentive, helpful and friendly staff. Wish my son lived a little closer as he would be there every week. Great atmosphere, and a fantastic way of keeping fit.

White Spider is great: friendly, relaxed, great instructors for the kids, good routes changed reasonably frequently, well-maintained, decent cafe and not silly expensive with flexible membership options including PAYG. Very easy to recommend!

We had our daughters 8th birthday party at White Spider climbing today and it was superb. Their instructor Matt was so enthusiastic and encouraged the girls to climb higher and higher, be brave and take on the challenge. Our daughter loved it, as did her group of friends. Thank you. We will be back.

We go at least twice a week and never get bored even as beginners. The people we meet are typically friendlier and more willing to help others than at some crowded central London centres. The Gaz Perry masterclass was excellent and very good value for money.

Took our 7 year granddaughter here yesterday, she thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Excellent pre climb training by Ben giving her the confidence to climb all the way to the top on her 1st go and abseil down

Really brilliant. Liked it so much we went back the next day. I've climbed before and after competency test was able to belay my kids aged 5 and 6. Great fun. Kids especially liked the castle but also the sense of achievement from climbing to the top. At one point one of the boys refused to let go and be belayed down the wall. Staff super helpful. Climbed up and talked him through walking down the wall. Brilliant place. Many thanks. Coffee great too.

OMG I had so much fun climbing! I felt like a child again. I was amazed at how quickly every single muscle was used. Wow #IndoorClimbing is an impressive workout that anyone can do (at any age). The Pink Dynasty members were so fast at picking up the basic skills; especially Nana who was like spider woman climbing up those mountains LOL.

Never really been climbing or even thought it would be something i would get in to, over the last 6 months I have achieved climbing to a 6a and my fitness has got better, more so than my previous of just going to the gym, the social aspect is very good most people are really friendly, on both the bouldering side and high wall climbing. staff are great the only downside is parking can be a pain going at peak times.

My son comes here regularly doing his NICAS level 5 ....staff are really friendly and helpful.

There is a nice atmosphere with music being not too loud ....the social on Fridays from 7pm is great.....lots of people, competitions with prizes...

My first time here the other night after a invite from some friends and it was superb. Lovely staff who were really helpful with renting all the kit you will need! I've not wall climbed in at least 10 years but it all came back and am looking to head there again in the next few days and possibly bring my 3 year old daughter to get her involved to 😊

I've been to nw Scotland, nw Wales, nw England and many other places in the U.K. To many of the Big centres but spider is still my favourite.

It was the first centre I went to and have tried to find better but spiders roof/ceiling really sets it apart and also the staff are amazingly helpful with advice and really want every climber to achieve as much as you can/want to!!

Love it and recommend it on a weekly basis!!

I've been now a handful of times with my twin boys and they love it! The Castle is safe and fun place for them to burn off some energy.

Just want to get involved again myself, after far too many years off the wall! Hopefully joining up very soon.

First time here and first time indoor climbing haven't been climbing since I left the army in 1998. Really good place to go to friendly staff and great home made cakes too

Fantastic place! The instructor David is awesome, showed us amazing tricks and fantastic instruction from him in general-definitely worth paying extra to get that!

Can't say I have visited many indoor climbing walls, but this is going to be hard to beat. Hundreds of routes, acres of space, bouldering and climbing to suit all abilities, great staff, excellent instructors, friendly patrons and I'm occasionally there too. What more could you want?

Took my son here for the first time yesterday and while he really enjoy it, he did have an accident. There a part inside the castle which is unsafe. Where it's really dark my boy fell

Down the hole which he didn't know was there and was just running along and fell and now is cruising a massive lump/bruise on his head. Might be worth looking into. Other than that we thought it was fab and we will be coming back

Really like this. Great for the kids especially daughter (5) as she loved the auto belay and will get better with practice and wants to go back. It was not busy at all which was great. Strongly recommend it. I am experienced in the past bit totally out of condition and know that this place will provide all the challenges I need to improve my climbing again.

Great mix of climbing routes and boulder action



It’s getting on ( as am I � ) so this makes it feel a bit dark in places as the chalk dust builds up on the limited natural light - normal for this type of venue but there are some great features to be climbed love the boulder roof and the stal roof very unusual .



I don’t like it when the routes are similar colours on the same or adjacent climbs dark purple and black for example or pink and red. I totally get how difficult it is to factor this into the big plan but lots of the routes had this problem especially when you factor in the low light - still loved it, loads of awesome climbs to be had - can’t wait to get back
