Whitefield Amateur Operatic & Dramatic Society was established in 1922 and continues to produce high quality plays and musicals in the Bury area.

Just a reminder that we are holding our quiz night next Saturday, we'd love to see as many of our friends come to support this fundraiser for the society.
Whitefield AODS will be holding the read through for the play Stepping Out on Wednesday 12th September 2018 at The New Jerusalem Church , Stand Lane Radcliffe at 7:30pm prompt. The evening will consist of reading of sections of the play, and a short tap routine will be taught by our choreographer Jessica McEvoy. The evening will be hosted by our Chairman Vivien Taylor, who will also be directing the play. You do not have to be a tap dancer to be in the play as all the routines in it will be taught during the rehearsal period. The play will be performed the week commencing 25th February 2019.

Whitefield AODS would like to invite you to the get together for our next play, Stepping Out, which will take place at the New Jerusalem Church, Radcliffe from Wednesday 27th February 2019 to Saturday 2nd March 2019. The get together will be at the New Jerusalem Church on Sunday 29th July 2018 at 2:30pm where you will hear all about our plans and get to hear from our Director Vivien Taylor and our choreographer Jessica McEvoy. A read through will be held on the evening of 12th September 2018, more details to follow.

Congratulations to our secretary Jeanette Brown who was given the Alison Bell Award at our recent Annual General Meeting. This is awarded to a member who is enthusiastic and loyal to the society and Jeanette is a perfect choice. Despite being our General Secretary, she also undertakes the role of Production Secretary and devotes many hours to making sure thing run smoothly and efficiently throughout the year. She is a great support to all involved in the society and would would like to thank her for her contribution year in, year out.

A reminder to all members that Whitefield AODS will be holding our Annual General Meeting on Thursday 29th March 2018 at New Jerusalem Church, Stand Lane, Radcliffe at 7:15pm. The room will be available from 7pm along with copies of the agenda and previous minutes.
