Welcome to Why Aye Pet!
Whether you need a regular dog walker to take your beloved hound for some exercise or you just need someone to call in and feed your pet parrot while you’re on your hols, Why Aye Pet is here to help.
As a professional dog walker and pet sitter based in Blyth, I am certified with the National Association of Registered Petsitters (NARPSUK). I have also been CRB checked and have insurance, so you have absolute assurance that your precious pet is in safe hands.
I know how important your pet is to you. I have owned pets my whole life, from dogs to hamsters, terrapins to cats and fish to rabbits. Every animal is different and has his or her own personality. I like to know what makes your pet special. I like to know their likes and their dislikes, so I can provide the best possible individual service to keep them entertained, fit and safe.
I have a friendly little Cavalier King Charles spaniel called Monty who can come on walks with me and provides a fantastic socialisation opportunity for young puppies. For those dogs who prefer some one-on-one time, Monty will happily stay home and rest up.
I am flexible and happy to provide the service your pet needs. Keeping all creatures great and small happy, fit, fed and watered is my business.

So sad today to hear that the amazing Stitch passed away last night. He was such a character and a pleasure to help look after. I know Gina and Ian have been blessed to have such a legend as part of their family and he’ll be sadly missed by Arla too. Thinking of you all xx 🐾 👼🏼

And this morning’s windy walk! Bertie is back for one week only and we all had a great time, especially Dora who loves chasing anything that’s blowing around the beach 😂
First off this morning, a trip to the vet for my main man Montgomery, who looks likely to be retiring from our big group walks as his little back legs aren’t working so well. He’s the longest serving Why Aye Pet pack member and the reason I wanted to work with dogs all day, so he will receive a generous retirement package... maybe some sausages and some wheels... 🤔
