Wickham Park Golf Club

We held my daughter's 18th birthday party at Wickham Park on Saturday night. Katie did the most amazing job, she organised everything for us & the room looked fantastic just exactly as we had asked for, everything was perfect, the decorations, the food, the DJ, the atmosphere. I highly recommend Wickham Park as a party venue. Thank you so much for making it such a special evening for our celebration. If you are planning a party go & see Katie you will not be disappointed.

Thankyou to Katie and the staff for their tireless energy in making Charleys 21st so amazing. Such a fantastic night, lovely venue ... cannot believe how it transformed from a golf club into such a beautiful setting �. Thankyou x

Over the past couple of weeks ,the greens have gone from bumpity bumpity bump,to unrecognizably good, sterling job by green staff, sand into the centre of green would be helpful ,it would be nice that the ball could roll from the edge of bunker into middle,as sand holds ball to wall of bunker.

Nice coarse reasonable price, but ! How about pensioner discounts, also veterans discounts would be a good gesture

Lovely course, well maintained. Friendly staff and brilliant facilities.

Love it here. Been a member for many years and it's just getting better. Of course is professional and the on course is as good as I've ever known it.

Has improved 100% from last time I played .... was impressed that much we re joined....

Great course well kept bunkers could with more sand on certain holes uther than that a great day out

Brilliant, the staff are very friendly and so are the members. The food is very good as is the selection of alcoholic beverages.

The golf is not bad either.

Booked Wickham as a venue for our management meeting. It was brilliant. We were extremely well looked after with a top lunch and very impressive cake!! Thanks very much. We will be back.

A good course to practice in the wind. Course management needed with club and distance. If anybody moans about the greens or fairways they should look at previous golfers, have they repaired pitch marks or divots? On the whole, helpful staff and a fun course for a good price

A fantastic venue for any occasion... We held a 50th birthday celebration here in January... Katie and the team were amazing in preparing the room decoration, entertainment and the food was outstanding... Hot buffet served to our guest who kept going back for more... It certainly made the birthday celebrations go with a swing!! Thank-you Katie and your team you will brilliant x

Really nice guy in the pro shop(Scott Edwards), bar staff not overly friendly, need to learn to smile!

Food was really nice, although no children's menu was a bit disappointing,

But overall really nice. �

First Time Visit to your venue. All good besides no signage to next holes so as a new person to your venues it did get confusing but other then that really nice all round looking forward to coming back soon

The course is always in good condition with very friendly staff.But our visit this time was not up to the previous standards.The approach areas to the greens were in a dreadful state,the man in the pro-shop was abrupt and the man behind the bar served people at the half-way window before people who were already waiting at the bar. On the plus side Kate was a joy to deal with as well as the lady in the kitchen.These are things that can make visitors not come back so please address. Steve - Harlequins GS

Nice course but fairways need cutting and greens have just been worked on. Shane it was in the condition it was for the charity day we had there. If honest I bet it's stunning when everything is perfect

For all the courses that I have played over the last month I felt very let down by the condition of the course. There are visable signs that there might be problems at the club. The staff and members that I met on the day were very friendly. It seems there is a large membership which is good for the club. But based on what I saw yesterday there was not much going on as to works on the course. The grass on the tee boxes was long and virtually impossible to get my normal tee into the ground. On the fairways the second cut resembled a third cut. The greens had been sanded to capture any evening moisture. The lack of watering is visible on the greens with a pitch going on with a 10foot bounce. I do think any paying and playing golfers will be put off for a return visit. I enjoyed the layout of the course and with more management of the course would be magical. I am in no way disrespecting any staff, managers or member's I am saying how I saw it. I shall return soon over the summer and see what differences have been made.

Played here on Thursday 28th December for our family xmas invitational as our uncle was a member here for many years but sadly passed away on the course 14 months ago. Unfortunately there was 15 temporary greens & they were not the best but as we played the course most of those 15 greens looked playable & someone should really go around every couple of hours & check to see if they playable as the day goes on. If it wasn’t for paying a deposit 10 days before we would of played somewhere else. Sadly I won’t be playing this course again in the near future. Staff were very polite & very accommodating

Aproach Apron to some greens in need of grass as looked like a muddy goal mouth and 2nd cut has all the thick grass cuttings left so balls could be easy lost less than a yard off fairway ! Few things sorted and it would be a lot better 👍
