Our aim has always been to provide something special for our doggy guests as much as their humans - we therefore love it when guests let us know how happy their dogs were.

The winding path to the pod is even prettier with all the buttercups in full bloom.

We do have the odd horror film in the cabin's DVD library if you're feeling brave.

Frome is just a couple of miles from Widget's Farm and has just been named "the most stylish place" in the UK. That's nice and all, but we love it because it's so friendly to both man and pup! And for the Poldark lovers, some of the show is actually filmed in Frome's historic streets.

We would recommend Widgets Farm without hesitation. We are here for a long weekend but will book for a longer stay next time. Our 3 adopted greyhounds love it here and having the use of the field in the mornings is great as they could have a proper uninterrupted run. The pod is cosy with all you need and the little enclosed garden means we can all sit out together. We will definitely be back.

The pod is fantastic, cannot recommend it enough for a lovely quite relaxing holiday. We have a reactive dog and to be able to let her run around without the worry about other dogs approaching is priceless 😊

So many places say they are dog friendly, but in truth just tolerate dogs. Widgets in comparison both welcomes dogs and understand them too. The cabin has a garden area which is securely fenced and the secure field next door was just wonderful for our rescue dog who has very little recall.



The pod itself is luxurious. I am an ardent non-camper (!) but loved this place. Cosy, warm and more luxurious than many hotel rooms!

Perfect getaway with the dogs, we had a fantastic stay here and will most definitely return in the future.

Dogs loved running in the large secure field. Anna was really friendly and helpful.

Just got back from a lovely weekend away! The pod is amazing, has everything you need for a glamping experience. The farm is surrounded by many local walks within a 5-15 minute drive away. Highly recommened if you want some time away to yourself with beautiful countryside views!

Just got back from a 4 night break here. Our two dogs loved it as much if not more than we did. The pod is quite spacious and the bed is really comfortable with a nice shower room. Anna made us feel very welcome. The view is amazing from the pod. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic pod set in its own meadow with beautiful views.Perfect place to spend time chilling and relaxing and great having a fenced in area surrounding the pod so our dog could run around free.He also enjoyed his run in the large fenced in field each morning.

Excellent! We stayed in the cabin for three nights and had an amazing time. Well equipped, has almost everything you'll need for a few night's stay. Only downside is a lack of space to prepare food; not an issue if you're eating out! Pod is in the middle of a small field with a secure fence around the perimeter. There are no buildings within sight where people live, only the shed that is on the grounds of the farm house. As such, it feels wonderfully secluded and private with beautiful views across the fields. The secure paddock that you have use of once per day (unless you book more) is quite large with plenty of space for dogs to run around in but there is a lot of long grass in the middle so fetch games didn't pan out for us. Our dog still had fun exploring and rolling around in all that space though. Local pub is The Bell which is slightly on the expensive side but the staff were very friendly and sat and chatted with us and it is very good food so the cost is justified. Unfortunately the only way to walk there is along the A road with no footpath, and it is a very busy road so we chose to drive the 2 minute journey there. There is a farm shop/restaurant/fish and chip takeaway just down the same road as well that is very good quality. Bath is about a 20 minute drive away and easily accessible.

Thank you to Anna for providing us with a small bottle of wine, a chocolate orange, some grain free dog food, biscuits and milk which is a lovely little welcome gift. Would love to stay again, it's essentially the perfect holiday for us and our dog.

Amazing! We loved everything about this place and so did our two dogs. We loved the fenced in area around the pod and the 7 acre secure field we had access to - gave us such peace of mind as one of our dogs has awful recall. Fantastic dog friendly places to visit nearby, we where welcomed everywhere with our dogs (they are not small!) and had some lovely pub lunches! We had a lovely day out to Bath, Stonehenge and so many other quaint little villages and castles nearby.
