Wow! What a great night in the pub last night. So many thankyou’s to say. Firstly thank you to everyone who came into the pub last night, it’s not the same without you. To everyone who entered into the spirit of the night by coming in fancy dress, there were some cracking efforts. Thank you Julia who worked her socks of all night.... Thank you to everyone who bought a domino card or just made a donation, we raised an amazing £155 for the British Legion. And lastly thank you to one of our lovely customers Keith who brought in a copy of his Dad’s diary that he kept whilst at Normandy during WWII. This was read out to us by Jack Mitchell. Keith’s dad was 19 when he wrote it. We all had a great night and we have the best customers. Thank you.
