Wild Beer at Wapping Wharf - Wildly Different Craft Beer and Food

Wild Beer At Wapping Wharf Description

The Wild Beer Co's first site in Bristol on the new Wapping Wharf development on Gaol Ferry Steps.

Bringing you an incredible line up of not just Wild Beer but from our brewing friends nationally and internationally.

Food is a huge inspiration for the Wild Beer Co and as a way to celebrate our Harbourside location - as well as pair immaculately with our beers - we're adopting a fish focused menu.

User

Lovely bar, great food with wonderful welcoming staff. Excellent selection of beer. Highly recommend.

User

Just went for a drink, excellent selection of larger and cider, gets a thumbs up from me 👍

User

I went there for food only and could not fault it. The best egg florentine I have had in a long time. Highly recommended venue.

User

Great beer from a unique local brewery. Make sure you take them up on free tasters as the beers are wildly different! Else you may end up with a beer that's not for you.

User

I've stopped here for a drink on a couple of occasions, so decided to try the food. It was fairly full, so was not surprised to find there was a 30min wait for food. This turned out to be closer to an hour, but was worth the wait! Fish and chips was delicious. One of our drinks was served in a dirty glass, but the bar staff changed it without any bother. What a shame the view of the river is blocked by a warehouse. I would definitely recommend it though.

User

Had a lovely meal last night. Great food and good service. Only criticism was that I was shocked to find on paying the bill that one bottle of beer I had ordered cost me £20!!! Would have appreciated the bar staff pointing out that I was ordering a premier beer when choosing at the bar as I had no idea at the time....other than that it's a great place.

User

Long queue not being serviced fast enough. Gave up and bough a couple of cans (from the same brewery) from Better Food.

The wide range of beers need descriptions and pictures so you can more easily see what kind you'd like. Maybe there was list with tasting notes but couldn't see?

Great to see though a local brewery doing well, will be back.

User

Fish and chips were oily and could have used more seasoning.

User

Some staff are clueless and haven't a clue about customer service here, the service is poor. Quite a shame when the selection of beers are pretty good and I know wild beer produce some quality beers. 2nd time here in a few weeks and it's still the same. Management might one day get staff that knows their beers that also has great peoples skills. Such a shame
